Hi guys,
I would really appreciate your help if you ever ran into such an issue.
This thing started happening on Android 4.3 and it continued on Kitkat after I unlocked my device, unlocked, wiped and installed factory image of Kitkat.
The thing is that while working the screen suddenly turns either black/gray/ image dims/ only half image appears.
It mostly happens when using Chrome.
after a few minutes of dimming just leting it on with the screen off, it all go back to normal.
The only thing I noticed is that the region of the back camera gets a little warm, but besides that everything's OK.
Have anyone ever ran into such a thing? What could be the problem?
I'd appreciate your response,
Fabian
anyone??
Please?
Thanks,
Fabian

So I'm sort of freaking out here. My phone was fine one second, then flickering the next. I thought it was a software issue, so i went into TWRP and tried to wipe data, but it happened there too. I'll try to post a video if I can, but the whole screen just dims, then gets brighter really quickly so it looks like flickering. Any help would be appreciated!
Has anyone called google and gotten a replacement for a tmobile nexus (not bought from the play store). And yes I have fastbooted back to stock unrooted. It still does it.
Hi everyone,
I'm running KK 4.4.2 stock on Nexus 4, bootloader locked, unrooted. Never unlocked or rooted it.
It seems my issue started with the latest camera update; when I tried to take a shot with Lens Blur my phone shut down with a spark sound. I could reboot it fine though. I've had the same issue when using the camera in normal mode with the flash on, but I know it's a known bug on N4.
But since today I can't even switch my phone on unless it is plugged to power. I've tried rebooting in safe mode, I'm having the same issue. When it boots it would show the pretty animated logo, and right when the home screen should appear it'd turn off. Again, if plugged in no problem.
I did a factory-reset, no change. Switched back to factory version of camera, no change.
What do you think could be causing this issue? Is it a power or CPU overload of some kind?
Thanks a lot for your help!

So 139 views and no one knows what's happening? I'll unlock the bootloader and flash the factory image, we'll see what happens. If anyone has an idea, please shoot!
Thanks
Could be a failed battery, reflash to stock first then see.
This is my first post on this forum. I searched around here for a solution, didn't really find one matching my problem. I am not a phone wizard or anything like that either. So I'll try my best explaining my problem.
First things first:
Phone: Note 4
Model #: SM-N910T
Android Version: 5.1.1
Rom: Stock Rom
Rooted: Rooted Once and used a custom Stock T Mobile Rom Once.
Here's the ROM I used at the time: http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...10tuvu1cog2-debloated-deodexed-stock-t3175406
Recently I So recently my phone out of the blue started lagging, freezing, and restarting itself. I didn't download any applications or anything like that for it to freeze up. I was currently then on the custom ROM I have mentioned above and it was the updated version. I have tried everything to my knowledge to try and fix the problem. I have tried going back to stock T mobile ROM (currently on stock rom now) through odin and stuff. After all that, it was still lagging, freezing, and restarting etc... Ran it through safe mode and the only problem in safe mode is that the lag is gone, but the restart is still there. Running in safe mode, if I would turn the screen off and back on to unlock my phone, there would be like 40% chance that it would restart after unlocking the phone and the phone would just restart normally. Rarely, whenever my phone would attempt to restart.. I would get a "Could not boot normally" message along with couples codes below and the image of android guy. Then I would have to take my battery out and attempt to restart the phone once again.. I've wiped the cache and everything in recovery mode, nothing helps at all. Also, the phone is in perfect condition. Hasn't been dropped, cracked, no water damage, or anything like that.
This place is my only hope to fix my phone before I will go out to buy another phone from the carrier.
Thank you all for taking your time to help me

Well I already got rid of my note 4 unfortunately before anyone could help me here so I had to upgrade my phone to note 5 and return note 4. While I still had my note 4, I realized something weird. While the phone was lagging and crashing etc.. When I had it plugged in for charge it would work perfectly fine. No lag, it wouldn't freeze up or restart (had it running perfect for 7 hours). It was like my phone was brand new again. As soon as I unplugged it from the charger, few minutes in and it was back to restarting and all that. I never knew why it did that.
Anyone know why this mightve happened?
Might be the battery though
I thought that too. I tried my brothers note 4 battery for awhile and it worked for a little bit and then it started doing the same thing even on his battery. Shrugs.

In the COH update iteration there is an annoying bug that affect fingerprint.
The bug causing the phone to restart, lagging & closing all apps randomly when the fingerprint is set.
May be this one is also the same.
Try to disable all fingerprint related settings.

I never used finger print scanning on my Note 4. Always disabled.
Hi,
im here on a strange problem.
Two N910C's
Both on 6.0.1 and clean flashed eRobot v6
One device works fine without problems.
The second one runs into trouble.
Random times the screen goes black and everything is unresponsive. Only way to bring it back is to pull battery.
Sometimes this happens again shortly after pulling the battery. Same procedure again an it works ... for some time.
Anybody knows what causes this or maybe has an idea?
Greetings
Hi all!!
Unfortunately my first post here starts with something not quite fun.
My BS2 has just randomly decided to go into a bootloop (I think it's called.). It doesn't even get past the logo screen and it's totally unresponsive to all buttons. So, not quite sure what to call this.
I have NOT EVER rooted my device or flashed any firmware or messed with it in any way.
I was just using it normally when it suddenly started flashing and turned off, never to turn on again.
The phone is running the latest version of the Global from. Nothing else to describe really except that the phone is bone stock with nothing ever done to it.
Would really appreciate any insight anyone would have on this!
