Sorry if this has been answered but i havent found it yet... googled it and searched here. Is there a way to deodex the stock or is there a deodex rom. Also i dont know how to nandroid from stock recovery. Can someone help me out since there is no custom recovery(?) Unless i missed the custom recovery.

No custom recovery for att yet, can not nandrod from stock recovery, there is a thread on how to get a deodexed ROM on the phone

If you use the forums search function you will find many instances where people ran across the same thing for many different reasons. You will need to check (based on what you will find) and see which reason is causing your problem with ADB. It could be anything from a driver issue to out-of-date SDK tools and many other reasons so there is no way to know until you check and trouble shoot.
the de-odex thread talks about at&t. will this work on other carriers?
Rogers in particular?
I received update today from ATT. Did not install yet. Does any one know what the reason for ATT pushing It out. I am rooted and on CWM... Thanks

2. I searched 4 different threads that were not conclusive and said wait for developers to tell you.
3. I have only 9 posts and can only do this in certain forums. I am following rules..

You are running "UCUAMDB" firmware currently, aka "MDB" for shorthand. The current firmware that has been out for almost a month now is "MDL" firmware. The OTA update you are getting is for the update from almost a month ago which has since been deemed safe for Root and Recovery.
The links the others provided in the thread provide those answers. Just takes a bit more reading and understanding. Please read a bit more as the info is all there, or you will bound to run into more bashing like this.

I had a galaxy s4 back in march and had rooted it fine, knew about the restrictionsbit had but still booted roms fine. I sold it in june. I just got a new gs4 yesterday , I come back to find this new mf3 update WTF att!!! Noe I had to root differently and now im wondering . Because not all rom pages say that you shouldnt flash if youre on mf3
What roms will work if im on mf3?

Im trying to go from mf3 stock 4.3 rooted to 4.4 based roms using safestrap. I understand I need to flash the rom as well the gapps package. Do I need to flash any modules or build props? Would love an answer as I have read many forums and havent found the answer? The rom im trying to flash is unofficial carbon 4.4.
