Use TWRP , = "Wipe = Advanced Wipe = Internal Storage" = this will wipe everything data/media.

Interrnal memory problems

Hello,
I cannot wipe data trough CWM, and cannot install new ROM (it boots forever).
Looks like I have got internal memory problems...
I can boot CWM only.
Any idea how to format internal memory thru CWM?.. Or any other advice?..

Have you gone into CWM "mounts and storage" and formatted system, data, and cache?

I just "wiped" it all. Is there any menu choice to format them?

Well if you went into the "mounts and storage" menu as advised, you'd see only two options for system, data, and cache, which would be "mount" or "format".
Which would you choose?
Somehow all that CWM formats didn't work for me...
Even after I placed the empty file"eraseData" (according to Thor) to CWM folder....
Actually, hardware reset saved my tablet
It didn't format the whole thing too, but it cleaned /data/ at least.
Any way, thank you very much for your help.
Does there exist some tool like "checkdisk" for Android?
I believe I still have to check somehow my internal memory card...,

I did an extensive search for an android disk utility, but couldn't find one, sorry
Oops, just found one, but it's only a defrag utility:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.disk.defrag.rubiks&hl=en
long shot.. but.. you haven't encrypted your tablet have you?
If you've encrypted your tablet in order to access corporate exchange servers then you will find that none of these will work until you've done a factory reset (through the annoying as hell switch flicking method )

Do it from the in-built settings.
Then do it in the recovery.
If you have a custom recovery you can just format /sdcard.

No! If you want to flash a ROM you only need to format...
/system
/data
/cache
/dalvik-cache (Or just "Wipe Dalvik Cache")
/internal-sd or /sdcard
Don't touch anything else!

Any problems you face you won't get much useful help, no one would even want to format those partitions.

Edit* Ok, No thanks actually,
BUt it seems to still be working - just put 5.0 Rom on the old HK note 3 and it worked a charm
***edit:
No, it wasn't! Wifi and modem was messed up.
I guess if anyone does the same thing as me, they can simply just re-install original firmware and that solves any drama.
To get it to work I simply went back to HK firmware (which was an annoyingly slow download using a vpn to get past the Great Fire wall of China) - This firmware thing used to be a big deal - but not so much anymore now that there actually is a downloadable firmware for the HK 4.4.2 bootloader. Why it took them a year to get it out is almost criminal. Anyway, Just reinstalled using ODIN, unlocked and flashed CWM.
Simple as that - No worries. I'm guessing anyone with as much experience who was being helpful could have advised to do this.

Hello Omkar,
Maybe, I don't understand you well. For me, a memory card is... a sdcard. Have you got external and internal sdcard/memory card? what recovery have you used? What tool are you using to know what space is or not free?
The memory card where you flash the ROM has some partitions: /boot, /recovery, /system, /cache, /data, /sdcard, /misc
The system partition could be 1GB (but... I think is too much) and basically contains the entire operating system. The data partition contains the user’s data and the sdcard is not exactly a partition. In terms of usage, this is your storage space.
I'm not sure that you format the entire memory card... I've just read a guide to Android partitions yesterday and other about ClockWorkMod Recovery and how to use it. They are complete and good. I would like to share them with you:

Hello omkar,
I'm sorry, but I'm not using the same phone model than you. If you're following a XDA thread to install cm9, it should be work.
I had a similar problem (it got freeze after flashing). I'm not sure what didn't work of the tutorial that I followed. So I decided to update the cwm recovery version and try with other CM. I followed the steps and I also formated the /system partition to make a "clean" installation of the CM. Finally it worked.
