I got the new software update from MH8 4.2.2 to MJ7 4.3 via OTA.
it downloaded and kept noticing me without any option to cancel, so i went to the "software update" app info, cleared the cache and data and force closed it.
now when i press "update" it says that i have the newest version.
i tried via Kies. same thing.
i tried also to clear the cache and data again.
also i tried to clear the data, cache and force-close the "google services framework"
but no luck.
any ideas?
i prefer not to flash it by myself and to keep all the options/apps
thanks!

I'm running the latest stock build for my i337m, the I337MUMUEMK6, I just got the update via OTA and I can't download a single app from the play store, not even update the existing apps, not on any of my 2 home Wi-Fi Networks nor in Mobile Data. I have tried everything you're likely going to suggest. Cleared Data & Cache on the play Store, Cleared Data & Cache on the Download Manager, Rebooted the phone, got desperate and did a Factory Reset, nothing, went to stock recovery and Did a Factory Wipe & Cache Wipe, nothing. I got even more desperate and made a new Google Account and still nothing, apps are stuck in "Downloading..." forever. What's going on?

The Samsung Account Update? Yes.
Bump, still can't download certain apps, others updated after hours of waiting.
Is anybody else experiencing this issue. I try clearing cache but still does it. Is annoying as i have to go back and update every app manually. I'm on stock 4.4.2 no root.

Clear Play Store and Google Services Framework data, and reboot. Is it fixed?
I'll try that and report back when i get more apps to update.
No that didn't fix it. I also tried uninstalling the play store updates. I'm currently using ART instead of Dalvik, although i did revert back to Dalvik once and still fail. I'm planning on rooting the phone so maybe when it gets restore back to factory it will get fix. Thanks for the tips anyway
Hi guys, I just got a tegra note 7. When I booted it up for the first time it said I had an update for 4.3 ota. I am at 4.2.2 currently. When I try to download it, it starts off fine. However, when it gets to 200 mb out of the 398, it says that it is downloaded, checking MD5. After that it says download failed. I've tried a factory reset, a regular reset. I've tried deleting the ota files and clearing the data and cache in the system updates app. Please help me figure out how to update this thing.
I am on OA8 (Lollipop). Currently unrooted.
Issue is every 30 Minutes or so it tells me that "Contacts has stopped working."
does anyone else have this issue?
I have this problem too. On OA8 rooted. Did I full system wipe and it still remains.

Go into Settings -> Applications, choose Contacts and clear data. You may need to force stop first and restart afterward.
Hey guys! So I recently got the option to update to android pie, now since I have the phone for 1.5 years unrooted and it started to be a little slow i decided to factory reset it before updating, now after actually doing the reset it does not show the update anymore and keeps showing me the phone software is up to date, any suggestions? thanks!
Images attached.
Strange, I've never seen anything like it, but you can flash rom using odin.
Any ideas guys? Im still not getting any updates!

Assume you've tried to manually check for updates right?
If that does not work go to your apps, turn on show system apps, now find them "Google services framework" app and clear data, then immediately reboot.

What do you mean manually? Ive checked in the software updates many times since then, tried wiping cache, and google services framework data, tried checking with smart switch. Nothing.

By manually I just meant tapping the update manually button.
Can you use the emergency recovery option in SmartSwitch? Maybe it will reflash current or part of rom or at least reset a system version flag (that maybe factory reset doesn't). I guessing here, never had to use it, but if it was me I'd give it a try.
Only other ways I know would be to flash with Odin, or via recovery or use ADB (obviously make sure you have the correct file for your phone region, provider etc research if you are not familiar with doing this)
