[Q] no 3g signal on [ROM]KOT49H【4.4.2】AOSP official Google Edition

II have flashed rom on my 9505 and after that i can only have 2G, when switching on 3G i loose signal and can do nothing.
Does anyone have something similiar ?
Pls help.

Update your modem to a 4.4.2 compatible one such as NA1 or NA5......

Could You help me with that- from where i can get those Modems ? Na1 or NA5 - im not very familiar with shortcuts -
I got my phone in Polish - Orange provider.
Do i need flash bootloader too ? I have flashed CWM on Original Android 4.2.2 then updated to This ROM

hi guys i have s4 9505 with omega rom v21.1 and if i want to update to v28 should i instal first bloatware and modem which are written in instal guide for v28 tnx

You can just flash the latest omega rom mate and make sure your doing a fullwipe so you wont get any problem later. And dont forget to make a backup first incase something will happen. About the modem , if your not having any problem with signal issue after flashing the v2x then no need to flash any modem. And Feel free to check sammobile for the modem you need that base from your country/provider and download the modem/lte from here and flash it via odin .

in the checking site are 4 ways, 3 are the mobile operators and one is BLG for my country Bulgaria and when i checked all 4 at the end are not XXUFNA5 like is in my phone now so what to do and which should i choose or do i need to change my, soon ill go in another country will this make problem with the modem if i get now this for my country tnx

Best thing you can do is stay on Fn5 modem then flash the latest version of Omega rom , If your having any Dropping signal issue then flash the modem base from your Provider , But feel free to flash the FNC4 modem since that's the latest one for your Country !

and i have done it like that just flashed the 28v rom in cwm and nothing more for now i dont have any problem with my old modem tnx

[Q] Help w/ Bad Service

Hey guys can someone please give me some advice on what to do with my phone please....

Model # - SPH-L720
Android Version: KitKat 4.4.2
Kernel Version: [email protected] #1
Build# - Negalite-WondeROM-NAE-r6
I rooted and installed this rom a few months back, im getting inconsistent service! i barely get data service in places i should be getting. i updated my PRL, Profile, and Firmware but still no change. i called sprint and they said you need to update the PRL but i already did that but they dont see it on their system that i did, maybe its because im rooted with a custom rom.
if anyone knows what to do or which rom i should install. please any help would be great. thank you

can you post a link with the latest stock rom please? ive been searching and im confused because of the knox thing. i only see the 4.3 rom but i have 4.4 installed. can i flash to an older firmware?

No signal after ROM change. Help!

i have an i9505, which i rooted and installed a new rom on last night, since then i've had no signal,
i've flashed the original firmware back to original but still nothing, can anyone help?

go to general and look for the modem thread, install the latest one. you have a old modem and new firmware

You need to change your apn to your carriers. Then hit save and you will instantly get dates

i went from stock to custom rom PAC MAN, then lost signal so i re installed the stock rom but still no signal, i have updated the modem to the latest but still nothing.

Yes the APN is all setup correctly.

Did you find a way to solve the the problem i have exact same problem with my S4.

search for Dr Keaton / Dr Keton on Google as follows
"Dr Keton site:XDA-developers.com"
without quotes u should get result which shows his threads of restoring network cause most likely you damaged your IMEI

use philz recovery and do a System cleaning for install new roms and install the new Rom clean

Lollipop update for SM-530H with Russian version

Hello guys,
I have a samsung galaxy grand prime, and I want to update it to Lollipop. Unfortunately, there's no firmware update to lollipop in my country/region. I noticed that there's an update for this device in Russia or India region. I wanna install one of those firmware in my device. Is it okay, although I'm not from India or Russia?

what grand phrime version do you have?? g530H or what?? and baseband version XXU or XCU?? you can flash any region firmware to your phone...

It's G350H. And the baseband is XXU. I know about that, but I'm still not sure that's safe. Is there any risks if I flash it to any region firmware though my region firmware isn't available yet?

Hi argounaut! There's nothing really risky about updating from another region as long as it's the right firmware for your phone. I usually update just like this 'cause my region doesn't give anything at all. My first was from Russia and then I updated my firmware from Uzbekistan and then flashed the latest build from Panama. All of it are 5.0.2 (Lollipop) and I haven't had any problems at all upgarding from other regions :good:
(EDIT: And I have the same SM-G530H as you, so no need to worry about risks)

Not really, but you have to root it again after every update beacuase you will lose root access. And for the best firmware so far, I think you should always go with the newest build every time you update:good:

Hi man! I don't know if it's going to void your warranty but, I do know that flashing firmware from official updates from other regions are totally ok. If it's a custom rom or your phone is rooted, well I can't really assure you with your question
