Hello, I am rather new to the Android world (practically a noob). I currently own an Intl. LG G2, rooted and flashed with CM 10.2. I was wondering if anyone knows how to change the dark background of the action bar (where the home, back and windows funcs. are) to a translucent state like the original LG G2. (I suppose the status bar is also connected too.)
Many Thanks!

Hello everybody. Loving 4.4 on my N4 so far but I just have one gripe with it and that is that the lockscreen can't actually be affected by GEL, thus no translucent navigation/status bar. Is there a way to do this manually (maybe by modifying framework-res.apk?) or is this simply not possible at the moment?
Hi everyone!
Yesterday i flashed the latest nightly of cm11 and omnirom to my friends S4 and in both i faced the same problem.
In the kitkat launcher the statusbar and the bottom of the screen are transparent but in both roms it was solid black.
Why is that? Is it a bug or did i do something wrong?
In my Galaxy Nexus statusbar and the bottom are transparent as it should.
How can i fix it?

they should be transparent and maybe the launcher may be incompatible on these roms
try it on another rom {a 4.2 one or 4.3 } and see if you have the same problem
Also, you could try a 3rd party launcher that supports the transparent status bar and see if it works or not. If it does, something is wrong with the launcher.
I do believe some early builds of custom roms did not have the transparent status bar ability yet, so you may want to try a newer build as well.

Hi, i have an lg g2 since november 2013. I had installed an lg theme....i think. Anyhow, i recently had to do a factory reset and lost everything. I cant find the icon pack anywhere. I think it was part of the jelly bean theme because a few of the icons look familar. But before, there where like 300 icons. They where black and blue and round, some where white and some where a combination of the 3. Most of them looked like a variation of the android puppet guy. Mainly just rhe head portion. Some where like headphones. Others looked like the android head with an antennae sticking up. Some resembled alien kinda stuff. I really would like to get tjese back. I use them for contact icons. I have looked at some of the themed things that use installers but i dont want what thwy offer. I like the base lg theme but want to mod thw icons. Any help os grwatly appreciated.
I am kind of a smart phone newb. This being my first. I come from a long line of flip phones.
Hi guys - just wondering if anyone knows of a way to hide the status bar in that lockscreen...... I have a rooted 4.4 LG g2 (international & 802 version).
I've installed Xposed and g2 settings, g2 exposed and gravity box and although they have lots of different mods for that lockscreen the complete hiding of status bar is not there.
I have my device in immersive mode and iI thought that I could use another mod called 'app settings' to try and force the lockscreen into immersive mode too but I don't think the lockscreen is an app as such so no luck there.
I know I can use widget locker for compete customization but I'd rather do it without going down that path - so any help would be great - thanks
Not the bar itself. And I've tried a couple of apps, I think one is called Navigation Bar, but it is a replacement so it doesn't use the screen real estate the same.
I'm running 6T 9.0.12 w/ renovate ice 11.1, stock kernel. Bootloader unlocked (of course) TWRP installed. Just looking to change the button color(s) only to match the rest of the system and highlights. I've been hanging to the old 24k OG Droid theme color forever.
