I have a Android 4.1.2 jelly bean, i would like to change lgsystemui.apk to systemui.apk from jelly beer rom, or cm10.1 rom, and its not working... how to change it ? I need this because its verry cool, and i need it in stock lg rooted rom, please help me find a reason

I cant work,at first you are on 4.1.2 and jellybeer is 4.2.2,at second it cant work because your stockrom is odexed,the rom have nothing of the apps from such roms in it,jellybeer and cm etc are very different in its sources.

Hi. I recently bought a LG Optimus L7 P700 for my mother.Version of android is 4.0.3 and version of software is V10,Kernel 3.0.8. So phone work a little bit slow .So i want to root the phone and flash some custom kernel to boost a little bit the phone.So i am asking because i have htc.Can i flash custom kernel over stock kernel?Or there is rom close to stock because my mother like stock rom so i want to be stock as possible.Or some kernel that can i use . I only want to tweak a little bit phone . Thanks for any response :good:

My wife got her LG L5 E615 dual SIM phone. i have been experimenting with it since yesterday. I also been planning to release a ROM with it. I was able to successfully updated to v20d (JB 4.1.2) from ICS, rooted and installed custom recovery.
I would like to ask if there are users here that is interested in a custom ROM - stock based JB 4.1.2? Any suggestions, mods you like to add?
My initial thoughts:
- Google Play edition boot and shutdown animation
- CM 10.3 sounds (ring tones, notifications etc.)
- trebuchet launcher as default launcher
- pre installed apps : tantrumsMod rebooter, etc.
- DSP Manager port from CM
- many more .....

me parece que seria bastante bueno poner un launcher "holo" como la de un nexus 3 , aumentar la memoria interna y la ram si se puede. muchas gracias.

Been Trying two days to find aperson who updated E615..! my problem is, the fone got stuck in bootloop...
So, when the fone showed there is a new Update... I Connected fone to computer.... installed the drivers....Started Updation.... it downloaded a 399mb file.... and then the Installation was completed to 100%.... then it said that "The Phone May Restart"... it did shut down..... while turning on..... The LG Logo appears.... then goes off.... it repeats infinite tyms.....
then I entered Emergency Download Mode.... i was able to connect and repeat the steps as above.... and obtain the same results........with the fone stuck in a screen saying "Download in Progress, Do not disconnect Cable."..... Now did i do some mistake...?? or was it just a usual problem..... should i have waited for more..... Please do help me ASAP.....:crying:

Boot your phone to download mode (Press VOL+ AND VOL- and power button) then insert usb cable.
I used this KDZ updater (I'm using windows 8). Remember to install msxml.msi first.

PhoneMode - DIAG

BhekBhek; 2nd SIM miss warning
I've been using this BhekBhek ROM and had no problems so far.
For those who may be useful, however, I've tried both versions (v1 and v2) and Google Agenda didn't work on the second one - even after wiping and flashing the ROM again and again.
Just one doubt, for those who might help me (dunno if this has ever been asked on another post): is it possible to hide the 2nd SIM miss label from the status bar? I use only one SIM card and hate that permanent warning over there.

hi, i have a D801 jellybean 4.2.2 d80110c, now i cant upgrade to lollipop from normal lg suite or something like that, it simply says that there is no available updates.
so i want to flash latest cloudy 3.3 rom, now i have a bit knowledge on all of that subject ( i used to flash alot of roms on my previous nexus 4), but how do i flash from android stock 4.2.2 straight to cloudy 3.3 rom? i'm really clueless because im afraid of brick because its not really like as flashing roms in nexus. thanks !
