I was jw if theres any way to stop pvz from restarting everytime you leave the game. Not a memory issue because it does it even with one app open

No issue at all, running CM10.1, Franco kernel and Nova Prime launcher. Try wiping the Play app data in settings/apps/all apps.

I usually had problems like this when using hybrid roms like rootbox and others. Shouldn't affect anything that much though.

I noticed that the droid combat app was only available on Verizon phones. If we edit out build prop to mimic a droid, we could install the app. Right?

Actually I did a little experimenting and found out that you can just install the apk after downloading it. The screen resolution is just screwd that's all
