[Q] Update fto MJ7 firmware with MOP? - Verizon Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all, I'm new to the forums (and Android), so I hope this doesn't anger to the point of spontaneous combustion.... anyway, i'm on the N900V with stock MI9 firmware; rooted with RDLV.
I was wanting to upgrade to MJ7 firmware, and read in the N9005 forums that you can do this with mobile Odin and keep the old bootloader.
Has anyone tried this for the N900V? Or do you know if it could/will work the same?
If not, is there any other way I can update to MJ7 firmware and keep the older bootloader?
please and thanks in advance.

According to the Mobile odin app page I am not sure if the Verizon note 3 is working. Says 9005 and didn't have n900 listed.

Why do you even want to Downgrade?

[Q] Galaxy S4 Rooting Question

I managed to root my AT&T S4 successfully which is half the battle. I haven't flashed on this device yet but did a few times on my older Droid X. I am thinking of flashing GOOGLE EDITION 4.4.4 that I found on this site under ROMS. Is there like an easy process to flash roms?
Thanks
You need to tell us what firmware version you're on. Different versions have different methods to flash roms.

[Q] Firmware Question

I have an ATT galaxy s4 I337 that I need to get firmware for. How do I know what firmware I need for my phone? Before the problems started I was on 5.0.2. Where can I get the correct firmware to install on my phone?
Thanks,
Jerry
Samsung/ATT are not updating anything that is flashable in Odin. You'll need to flash the nb1 tar file then ota up from there. See this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=53758227

Downgrade

Hello experts i would like to downgrade to 4.3 from lollipop how can i do it ? Im using cm12.1 now thank in advance

If you're using CM12.1 with JB bootloader than find a stock rom and flash with odin. But it's hard to find a JB firmware now.
If using LP bootloader you can only downgrade to KK.
Dial *#0011# if it could show your bootloader version.
Else install samsung phone info from playstore and screenshot as below.
If i want to downgrade to kk i just flash the official using odin ?

There are many posts reporting they successfully downgrade to kitkat from lollipop. For error free use the same region/country firmware of your phone(check your phone csc). Did you ever flash lollipop on your phone? Because it doesn't means that if you're running cm12.1 your phone has lollipop bootloader. The last time i check it can even run with jb botloader.
Myself however would refrain myself from downgrading as it could take some efforts to recover in case it's unsuccessfull
