Don't go to FGS Trading for LTE Version - Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) General

I bought LTE version from FGS trading CO over amazon . They had them for 774$ and I jumped at it . I don't know why is nobody selling them in USA . Maybe this model is not ready . Maybe samsung has some problems with it . Maybe they never got it to work properly . Like the one I received . This thing was beyond defective . It was horrible . When you turn it off and then later you turn it on , it takes about 3 seconds to screen to come on . When you restart it the screen rolls from bottom up ( like when you have PC without proper video driver ) . Ram was showing 2.3 GB and there was FC's . I did factory reset and it did not help . Now I don't have any evidence that ALL models from FGS trading are like that , but they have very low score on BBB and I did not want to wait another few weeks till I get another one like that . I went to best buy and bought P600 model , and it's working great . And FGS is charging me 115 $ restocking . I used it for 2 hours . If you REALLY want LTE version WAIT FOR IT . There is REASON why the giants like Bestbuy , amazon , tigerdirect , or new egg don't have them . And it cost me 115$

All the LTE versions available in the US are not official. I ordered mine from Amazon.de for 770$. 16GB but at least I know it is original.

That's what I was doing since P600 came out . I was on amazon.uk and amazon.de bud they only ship to European countries . I have some friends in Germany that could have received and forward it to me but it would cost arm and leg . Hope yours is working good . Surprisingly my p600 is working better than I expected . It's flying .

Amazon.de does send them to US. There are other sellers on amazon.de (not amazon itself) who are selling these tablets and do not send them to US amazon itself also sells the tablets and sends them to US for rather low shipping fee (and they do not charge VAT)

I didn't rush into the FGS trading one either - emailed them twice about the storage capacity and posted the question on the page for the tablet - funny enough i can't see my question on there anymore....
got no answer from them about the storage capacity and don't wanna risk it
was considering the one from atgsm but am just not sure... i have until january 5th to return mine so i'll probably wait and see what happens or if something else comes out before then maybe (asus 3-in-1 anyone? although that's been vaporware for a while too....)

Do not deal with these people. The said they sent 40 tablets by accident and that if I did not pay for them, they would not be delivered and that they will not refund my money as the delivery would be put on hold in customs. They used a bogus shipping company which you could not contact via phone, would not provide info for customs hold because I wont send them more money. The entire conversation is listed below. I know it is a long read but don't get scammed like i did!!

All these things do not add up so we will need to earn some trust with this first shipment prior to us handing over more money.

If you want this to be a long term business relationship, then lets fix the problem. If not, please issue full refund for money already paid.

Seriously? The above wasn't enough to send you running for the hills? No reputable seller would ask for payment via a Walmart MoneyGram. Sorry it worked out the way it did but you should have seen it coming.

I agree completely. The problem that I was having was that there were hundreds of reviews of people actually satisfied with their purchase and received the items and they are listed on amazon and were making phone calls. text messages and had numerous good reviews. Where as most scams run only through email from what I has ever seen.

No. You dont have to pay VAT if you are getting it shipped from Europe to the US address. I just bought the Touch HD from one of the UK sites with out VAT.

I odered mine from expansys (UK site) on Nov. 10th. No VAT, no CA sales tax, no custom forms, HD was shipped via DHL and was here on Thursday, Nov. 13. This time frame included a little hassle, as expansys USA took over (actually wanted to) and I told them I want it shipped directly from the UK. USA price was quite a bit higher, I think $799 phone only.

I ordered mine from handtec.co.uk for $706 USD total.
I ordered it on an Friday and received it on the following Wednesday, 4 working days. They ship via Fedex so Fedex called me then emailed the FCC form.

A bit of a hassle as Handtec only takes Google checkout for payment. They weren't proactive on providing a tracking number but I spoke to them on the phone and they were very responsive. All in all a good experience.
