I did it just fine when first flashing a rom (came from latest update, have flashed jellybean, hyper, etc.) I'd try to just try flashing a rom after a clean/wipe with Safestrap. I went down as far as MK7. I think I had to flash the stock .pit file with odin one time to make it happen one time when I soft bricked
I remember reading that the odds of triggering a knox counter with a certain app over PC (rhymes with lingo) is something like 1-10,000.
So now there is no way to roll back ?

Nope! You can't rool back. You will soft brick ur phone using ODIN and even if youflash a custom ROM based on that older base, it won't boot.
If you are rooted with urdlv and kept the old bootloader it is possible with mobile odin, else no way

[Q] Will rooting MJ6 with Kingo give Knox 0x0?

I'm on the MJ6 software. If I were to use Kingo, would my Knox still be 0x0?

Think the exploit was closed after MJ3 - so don't think it works... I may be wrong however

Selinux and Knox

Hi everyone
Can we switch Selinux to permissive without triggering knox
And will flashing a kernal through mobileOdin trigger Knox ?
Thanks in advance

It has been done, but as it is closely tied to the kernel you shouldn't count on being able to do so. Normally a custom kernel goes hand in hand with permissive rights.
A custom kernel will still trip Knox when the signature is checked during boot.
.
if it has been done and Knox wasn't tripped this means that the signature is still stock
Which means we only need a kernal dump from the device in which it was done
Am I wrong ?

You're wrong because you're making an incorrect assumption.
It wasn't a flawed kernel with a valid signature, but rather an exploit that bypassed the signature check altogether. An exploit that is no longer possible.
.

How do I remove Custom System Status and Root and Stay on Knox 0x0?

As the title says I would like to revert back to Official Status, remove root and stay on Knox 0x0
I have 4.3 version, Knox 0x0, and I have reset to factory defaults and I do not have root now.
As knox is 0×0 it means you are not rooted.Just flash official firmware will solve your status.flash it wia odin.

No. False. Knox flag DOES NOT mean you're not rooted if it's 0x0.
The only times this is true is if root using a method that rewrites your recovery, such as CF-Auto-Root.
The only things that trip knox are unsigned recoveries (ANY custom recovery) and custom kernels (ANY custom kernel).

Ohh..tnx for correcting me.!But I think the problem is status of device. As knox is 0×0 there is no problem.knox is not triggered. Flashing a stock firmware changes the status custom to official. Please correct me if I am understanding wrong!

Correct. Flashing a full stock firmware AFTER a factory reset and wipe should return to official status, officially.
