Hey guys,
Ther is one thing missing in the HTC Call Manager. This is the possibility to copy paste a number and send it as DTMF.
This is needed for instance when you do phone banking, etc...
Any idea guys of any utility who can do that?
Cheers;

or this one if you are using calling cards:
http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=24299
No addtional software required
to send dtmf tones on contact page go to notes and set the numbers you need you need to send as DTMF:12345 then hit enter the text should then turn blue and underline like a link on webpage
to use tones call number as usual then go to notes page and tap the link

What do you mean by " set the numbers you need " ?? if your saying to "highlight" the numbers (like when editing) then the numbers are actually deleted??!!
I have it set up to use for topping up a toll pass so my notes page looks like this
DTMF:12345 (account number)
DTMF:5678 (pin number)
DTMF:20 (amount to top up toll pass)
DTMF:333322424 (credit card number)
DTMF:2034 (credit card date)
All dtmf links just need to be tapped when asked for that info by automated system on the phone

What i mean is how do you get the text to turn blue and underline like a link on webpage ??
You have got to have dtmf in uppercase then : then numbers no spaces then return on keyboard then it turns to link
Hi
Yes, it works!!!..........10 points for you.
When i added a new contact it is telling me to verify their number and when i text, instead of just clicking the box and typing, it has their number in the box as well and says to verify their phone number. How do i get rid of this? It's only happening on one contact.
examples:
the +3294723984 should not be above my add text area box

when i click on the number it shows this
img511(DOT)imageshack(DOT)us/img511/7061/photo1ys(DOT)jpg
This doesn't happen with any of my other contacts and if i add the number again or click on of that crap text/call etc it doesn't do anything but go back to the msg windows again, GRR what is this and how do i fix it?
hey guys i was wondering how to remove the phone number out of sms? it says the persons name then it has their phone number next to it. this only happens when i backup my contacts from my google account. if i dont back those numbers up, and manually enter it, it only shows the persons name. any help is appreciated
I know that we talked about this in the thread and some people tried to but couldn't figure out how to get rid of it.
I just learned to live with it or just get another message application ...

I have just picked up my new phone (Samsung Galaxy S4) and I'm trying my best to not EVER show my real number to ANYONE. I have set up google voice for phone calls and it seems to work nice but now I'm trying to work with my sms/mms messaging. I can send text's out via the google voice app and it works fine but I want a more integrated solution such as the google voice calling portion.
For example... ANYTIME any app needs to make a call or I choose to make a call it ALWAYS shows my google voice number. That way at no point (making a phone call) will anyone EVER see my real phone number. This is EXACTLY the effect I want.
For texting however, I open up the google voice app and send a text and it shows it's coming from my google voice number. That's want I want too. BUT, if I open the stock messaging app by mistake or another app sends a text (using the stock messaging app) it shows my real phone number. This is NOT the effect I want.
Any ideas?

You can call your service provider and have sms/mms deactivated.

How then would I get text messages?
Um, if people only have your Google Voice number, that is the number they will text to. Only drawback is it's SMS only.

Well obviously having people text my google number would send texts that way... I'm saying how will calling my service provider and disabling mms/sms have any effect on getting people to use my google number? I guess you were alluding to the fact that if people do have my real number then sending a text would be pointless. Which is true, but last time I checked when you send a text to a number that does not support sms/mms you get no response back saying something like "sorry no such text number". I would never know the other user even sent the text in the first please.
Drawback... Wow! I thought I could get MMS via google voice. Thanks for the tip!
I went through all the threads, and I didn't see this come up. New to LG, coming over from a Nexus 6. I can't find a way to send a contact's calls to voicemail. I'm only finding block, which I don't want. I want the contact to be able to leave a voicemail, I just don't want to talk to them. Anyone know where it is?
