So what apps would you recommend for people with a Vibrant, and give some unique ones, and try to make them in categories like, if you say Doodle Jump, put Games beside it. lets try and make a list of apps that would best suit us vibrant-users.

Recipes, Scanner Radio, XF Mobile (XFire), Free Music Download, Loot (Tracks my expenses/bank accounts, etc), Contract Killer, Klondike, Mahjong, Pinterest, Google Music, Tune In Radio Pro, Kroger, Out Of Milk (Shopping/To Do List), Craigslist, Yahoo Fantasy Football, Scoreboard, Watch ESPN....
cam scanner.
Too lazy to type a whole thing, but for a game, try world of goo. Simplistic, but very challenging.
Astro, evernote, and doods are a must have for me.

the only icon i can get to take is batt. all others are not showing after reboot wifi might show up at start but then go away.. also i dont remember but recently evert time i try and change an icon i have to resign into gmail and everything.. thx for the response

Google Music is, hands down, the best android app.
Best game right now - GTA III
I don't have my Evo 4G any longer, but on my Nexus S 4G, I'm using LCD Density Modder, with a screen density of 200 (stock is 240, which should be the same for the Evo). It makes the screen look like a qHD screen. Made my phone like a new phone all over again. I haven't noticed any degredation in screen quality when looking at text, or pictures.

I just did this to try it out. Its really cool! It gives me more space on the screens. I may change it to about 220 though, this is a little small.
Also, you can change the LCD density using ROM toolbox. It does more too, its like the perfect root app!

I've been checking out the various Android browsers to which gave me the best screen font anti-aliasing to make up for our less than HD screen resolution.
Far and away my favorite is Maxthon HD (free in the Play Store).
I don't know what they do but colors really pop and fonts are super smooth and sharp. Also has excellent bookmark syncing and folders with an online account.

Hi again! I up the thread because i had a problem wiht google (they say i used many keywords) so i had to upload the app again... so if you have downloaded the app and want new releases to be available for you, you should uninstall the app and install it again with the new apk...
You can find it at google play here or just look for it on play store! the app is called Don Ringtones Classic Games, I added support to install the app on SD too.

Many of you are coming from the likes of the Note 2 (or even the original Note) but I'm sure there's plenty like me that are new to the phablet scene and definitely new to the S-Pen scene. So it seems appropriate to start a thread asking people - what apps do you recommend to use with your shiny new device? Going beyond the usual recommended android apps, what ones do you feel really make use of the Note's features (such as the pen, or the massive screen or whatever).

I would of said sketchbook, however they have nicely included that with the device now! It's a brilliant app for getting your artist on!
I'd also suggest emulators for games as the big screen is certainly easier than the smaller devices out there! Drastic DS emulator has arrived on the play store recently.. It's abut £5 but imo worth its price tag, it allows you to play Nintendo DS games (Roms) really fluid and of course with the s-pen!! ! If you was a fan of the old Zelda games etc this gives you a change to play catch ups wit the latest outings of Link.

SwiftKey - Brilliant keyboard replacement that I feel that corrects a lot more reliable than stock.
Spotify - Free 48 Hour trial of millions of music tracks (You can keep creating a trial account, in theory not actually pay.. But you'll end up in love with your play list you've mashed together and just pay the sub (what happened to me).
Go Sms pro - again a nicer more configurable Sms /mms replacement of stock app. Also includes a go Sms to go Sms feature where you can send pics, doodles, recordings, videos to anyone with gosms installed for free.
If you live in the UK *** 0800 wizard. Allows you to dial 0800/0844 numbers using your network minutes.
Order and chaos - MMO game, works really well with the big screen and adreno 330... Similar to world of war craft.
Es file Explorer - allows you to browse the memory on your phone/SD card memory a lot easier.
Be great if people added their favourite apps into this thread... Nothing beats a good app download session

Drastic is an amazing DS emulator. Has fast forward feature for all you poké masters.
I second SwiftKey as well.
Firefox works nicely. Can download add-ons like adblock.
