Galaxy Note II - India

I got my Galaxy Note II in India after pre-booking at Samsung estore.
Firmware version: N7100DDALI9
I noticed it does not support split screen. May be we need to wait for the update. Anybody who got a more latest firmware version?

Samsung guys hav started Rollin out the update for split screen like the Korean versions, just saw a thread from a French user confirming it. Ull receive it too soon, do update some pics wen u receive it

When it asked to setup Software Update, I selected the wrong country (UK) even though I am in India.. is there some way to revert it to India.. or leaving it in that setting is fine?

XXALJ1 update definitely brings the multi-window goodness along with it..
Quick question on the same.. Has any one played around with the Edit button on the multi-window sidebar? Does it mean that there is some way of editing applications that can be launched within the multi-windows?

Blue Mark on screen ends.

Does everyone get a blue Mark on top and bottom of screen when scrolling reaches the end? I asked at Samsung store and they told us normal and all note's have it.

U would think a simple ui thing like this would be appreciated by iPhone users. In any case, let them talk smack, they're just jealous if the only thing they can find fault with is a handy little ui feature.

Its also a way around another of those Apple patents...

Btw i remembered, htc one x also has those blue marks on sides
As far as i remember they were of a different color and looked even uglier

I'm sure if you find a way to port all the touchwhiz framework then it could be done. I know things similar to that have been done, for example I remember about a year and a half ago the sony xperia framework was ported to aosp, installable as a flashable zip. This enabled absolutely every proprietary xperia app/feature, like the xperia exclusive games, bravia engine, etc. on any phone running aosp-based firmware

Hmm....i think that would not be possible. Because N4 doesn't have that sensor.
But maybe i am wrong....

The S4 uses the front facing camera to detect eyes from my understanding. So it may be possible with the newest touchwiz framework.

Thats not an app, and from the looks of it, it probably requires root.

Anyone making or made a White Theme for N9005? Every other theme seems to be the same boring theme in ROMs and theme packages black/grey etc
I miss my S4, doesn't seem to be a lot of people working on note 3 probably because of the price still lol

Won't a white theme on an amoled screen kill the battery?

White Theme
Hello all friends,
Came by here so whatever I know and have faced while trying to make a white theme I will share
The 4.3 system is not at good for themers and theme lovers too
Any XML editing I do for the colours to make the white font to black make the phone hang @ start or does not work at all and boot loop
That's the reason no one yet is making a white theme or any light theme
May be new firmware like 4.4 have some good new for us not sure
I can make a light theme but cannot change the colour and in some areas it will not be readable at all
