So my Thunderbolt finally died and I decided to pick up the LG G2 after reading all the hype. My only question is will i be able to use the same 4G sim card from my thunderbolt to activate my new phone or do i have to go to a Verizon store to get a new SIM to activate it? Thanks for the help.

I will be getting my G2 tomorrow if Fed Ex had their sh!t together. When ordering the iconic system asked if I wanted to keep my current SIM card and I checked yes. I'm coming from a GNex. Can I just pop out the SIM from my GNex and put it in the G2 and I'm off and running? DO I have to take the G2 into the vzw store? Will they need my GNex? I would hate to have to unroot and lock the bootloader.
Thanks
I moved from the DNA after doing the same, moving my sim from a nexus. I do not have the security element needed for NFC wallet tasks. Besides that, the phone works with my old 4g Sim.
It will work. I moved a sim from my GNex to my Note 2 to my S4 then to my G2. The G2 came with an unactivated sim so I just activated it because the contacts on mine were getting worn and it seemed like if I didn't put it in just right my signal was a bit lower... I think it was just in my mind... Wow! Just saw my first LG G2 commercial on TV while typing this. Showcasing knock knock.

Thanks. The G2 actually came with one installed anyway. Up and running. This thing is a beast.
For the Verizon LG G2, can I swap sims when I go abroad and have it work?
Thanks

Mine works fine on AT&T I get HSDPA, however just like the LG lucid if you reset the phone, it wont go pass the activation screen unless you use a verizon simcard.
I am sure there is a key combination to bypass it, I just havent figured it out yet.
As the title, Wondering if my LG G2 Verizon will work on T-Mobile network, I see here and there about this on the internet, but I figure
I'd ask on XDA . So far I hear I'll lose out on LTE, but HSPA is good, which is good enough for me.
Also Verizon LG G2 comes unlocked, if true, Do I pop in my T-Mobile SIM, and out the box working?
I'm interested in this as well. I tried my tmobile sim in a coworkers G2 and it worked on LTE, but I just bought one and tried it and it's showing Roaming and HSPA.
Hey guys,
Have lg g2 tmobile with bad esn is it possible to use straight talk att sim after unlocking to work on att network? i read about blacklist database sharing between tmobile and att but i read a thread where a guy had tmobile note 3 and got it to work on straight talk.
Thx
Hello, I've been searching for the answer everywhere and can't seem to find it. I have two options, my first option is to buy an LG G2 with an broken screen for $70 and repair it for my person use. The catch is its T-Mobile, could I unlock the phone and use it with Verizon? My second option is that my friend has an LG G2 from US Cellular and is willing to mail it to me, is it any way of unlocking it to Verizon?
