Hey, I seem to have gotten myself into a pickle. Here's what happened: I wanted to do an update to Cyanogenmod 10.2, so I downloaded the ROM and gapps. I wiped dalvik, cache, and system and flashed the ROM. When I tried to flash the gapps Clockwork Mod said it was corrupt. No problem, turned the phone off, pulled micro usb card and put the gapps on that. The only problem is now I can't boot into recovery at all, with the Power+down option and ROM Manager crashes when I try to open it. So the problem is that I can't boot into recovery and I can't reinstall ROM Manager because I don't have gapps. Titanium Backup is also having problems and can't get root access. Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem is or how to fix it? Thanks in advance.
I'd Odin back to stock and start over.

How do I do that? Will I be able to since I had CyanogenMod 10.1 on before I tried to update?
Also, It would be better if I could just reflash a custom recovery, is there any way to do that?

See if you can find an odin flashable recovery. There's probably one in the development forum. Flash that.

It's worth a try. If it doesn't work you could go the Odin to stock method.

i was planning on reinstalling the original firmware but my phone doesnt recognize my sd card (i can boot in recovery mode)
i did the wipe data/cache, still nothing.
what can i do??
Please don't panic, you're phone isn't bricked. Do you have a backup of your stock Samsung rom? Odin the CWM recovery again and restore back the rom.
Take a look at the other thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2483148

Hello everyone.
It's my first time that I post here.
I had a problem today. My sm-900h, has a softbrick. It stays in Galaxy S5 screen, and nothing happens.
I can enter to the recovery and the downloading mode without any problem.
The recovery doesn't read my SD card, so I cannot intall a zip from my SD.
When it happened, I was trying to restore from factory, and I accidentally wipe for installing a new ROM.
Is there any way to recover it back? Maybe a way to put a .zip in the cellphone's storage.
Any ideas? Thanks.

I have a galaxy tab 4 10.1 (t530NU). I rooted it just fine and I was gonna install a rom. I decided to clear up some stock apps, I installed root uninstaller and got rid of the galaxy app store. After that, play music and a few other apps crashed. I turned off the tablet and now it's stuck on the booting screen. Is there a way to get it working with twrp and gapps or something?

First off did you make a nandroid backup before this happened? If so just restore it.
If not, flash TWRP through Odin and then flash the appropriate rom from this thread if you were on kit kat; if you were on lollipop you might just have to flash the firmware file again. And you should be using titanium backup to debloat. Can you list out exactly which apps you tried to get rid of?

I tried to get rid of the samsung app store, and no, I didn't do a nandroid backup. I think I tried to get rid of the kids mode too. Luckily I downloaded twrp before this happened.

Can you boot into recovery (either stock or TWRP, whatever is installed)? Maybe try first clearing cache/dalvik so you don't have to lose any data, because every other solution I can think of will probably involve at least a factory reset

Another option
Thank you so much! I flashed the rom and everything is still there.
My last rom was custom bliss (6.*) on Note 4 SM-N910C.
I need to revert back to stock. Smart switch will not recognise my device and when I install stock rom or even custom roms through ODIN I am stuck on boot loop. Only if I install bliss again it's working.
Solution need desperately.
Thank you,
Anthony
You have to do a full wipe, with cache and dalvik before flash the stock ROM, flash, and if it still stuck on boot loop, then recovery reboot and wipe cache.
I've already done that with no result!!
If twrp working.....then clean everything....and install ditto rom....thn flash back to original....it might help
Use Odin and in options tab check " Nand Erase All" too. Three of them are now checked. Then flash the stock one.
Maybe your modem is Android 6 and you'r trying to flash modem 5. Try 6.0 stock

Have you formated all partitions trough TWRP?
Try installing another custom rom like EROBOT! And do a SUPER FULL WIPE on AROMA. The first boot take about 5 minutes.

Flash stock rom with Odin, and when odin is flashing the system, remove your USB cable. Your phone will boot in a "Emergency firmware recovery". Then, try to use Smart Switch or Kies to recover the software.

I've just tried to initialize through SmartSwitch. It went through the process but then again boot loop. tried factory reset through stock recovery, again the same.
I've also tried your above suggestion with odin and smart switch. Then is says that this device it is not supported.
