Chances to port Paranoid Android or CM11 to F320K - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I previously used Paranoid Android for my Galaxy S2 and switched to G2 320K recently. I find that only a few Roms supported 320K. Would like to check whether there is any chance to use Paranoid or CM11 in future?

ParanoidAndroid was not support the Korea version G2 rom also you need to build the ROM form opensource.
make sure you can change the Kernel to make the different Version work like D800/D801/D803

[Q] New to nexus devices, kernel compatibility question

Pretty simple one, Google search couldn't find me anything.
Since the device is built on AOSP, are there any compatibility issues with kernels and CM?
I'm used to being on touchwiz devices, and obviously only AOSP kernels would work with CM builds, not touchwiz ones.
I'm assuming that any kernel would work with CM, but I just wanted to be sure.
To that end, are there ANY compatibility issues with kernels and ROMs listed here?
Thanks in advance!

yeah all kernels work with all roms. i dont know if anything bad would happen, but i would advise against installing a 3g rom on a wifi nexus 7 and vice versa.
not really 4.2 kernel wont work for 4.1 and vice versa you should be careful when flashing kernels

Yeah, most kernels are listed for what they are compatible with. Keep your eyes peeled.

this is possibly a noob question?

can we port any asop roms to lg l7 using 4.1 android version or 4.2 version as a built source ?

You can use any of those source codes, actually there is a really good stable version of Cyanogenmod 10.1 for this phone that uses Android 4.2.2 as built source.

OK, you looks confused for what's the meaning of AOSP.
AOSP is the most "Official" Android ever made, it's created by Google without any software modification. Any Android ROM is based on AOSP, even Sense and Touchwiz. And you say, can we port AOSP with CM10 or CM10.1 as base, then the answer is = YES.
Why ? Because CM is based on AOSP. And it seems you looks confused for what's the meaning "built from source" with "porting".
ya may be ,but by aosp i mean parandroid exactly..

which unofficial cm11?

There are some cm11 daily builds for our devices. Which one do you recommend to use? Thanks.
İ think you dont use cm11.. İ suggest psx rom.. Fast, smooth ve stable.. You should try it..you will like it

I second this question. I've seen around 5 unofficial CM11 builds. Of those, which one is good?
Side question, so far, which 4.4 ROM works the best?

İ am using psx kitkat rom.. While i using 4.3 i was using. My favourite is psx rom.. Exactly you should install and live speed

the "what is best" topics aren't really allowed on this forum.
OP is asking about CyanogenMod, not PSX.
You should use Euroskank, it's the next closest to official ÇyanogenMod.

Most of them are going to be nearly identical unless the builder has added their own changes. I personally use these, just make sure you choose the ones tagged 4.4, as the poster also does 4.3 and 4.2 builds on a nightly basis.
I'd recommend building your own, if you're capable.
I normally flash whichever one is the most recently compiled. Got to have the latest version right? On the odexed version by Bruce and i think it's the best performer bit i always like euroskank. Always had features before they are merged

Have Galaxy S5 Port for G2?

thanks...
ROM or whatever..
IF you have a look at the android development sub forum for LG-D802 you will find a themed rom, make sure to only flash if you have the same model though.
In my time in all the phones I've had none of them have successfully managed to port Samsung roms so don't get your hopes up.

If you get the AOSP device tree, you might be able to set it up to build. I have no idea if kitkat can be built for the Nexus S, however.
Thanks

I think the same stuff that got KitKat working on the aries family got it working for crespo... But I don't think any of the core team could assist you here as none of us have that device.
Thanks
