Hi everyone, new to this side of the forums but obviously not my first rodeo. Noticed a thread wasn't started on this and was kinda interested as in others scores regarding different carriers, rooted, stock and other ROM benchmark results. So this isn't for just my knowledge... I'm sure others would like to know and appreciate others results/opinions. Let's keep it clean, thanks everyone. Here's my Moto X on USC running complete stock. What's yours?

Hmm, interesting! Are you facing any problems with this mod, WiFi drops or screen mirroring stops working or something?

Nope, everythings fine, my battery life is even better, you can try, and if u dont like it theres a uninstaller, about screen mirroring i dont know but as i said u can try :good:
i forgot that you should be using a custom kernel that support init.d (fauxs kernel)
Edit: Using fauxs ultimate edition (overclock) i get a little bit more than mainline edition :silly:

Hey guys I like the LG UI but I really miss the stock android experience bad. Does anyone know how close we are to getting a stock rom on the G2? I know that there are some complications getting everything unlocked for the G2 but I'm just looking for an update.

How the hell do you expect a 4.4 Rom when the source code is not even released yet?

We're about 15 meters from a custom 4.3 rom.
trying to decide which rom to use, itll be my first EVER! .. what yall using? what yall like about its. i have an att version rooted. thanks! so far leaning towards power user edition rom, feel like clean rom is what i have already cause i debloated a bit or is there more to it than that?
Sorry but you must have got confused which forum you're on. This isn't the Galaxy s4 forum.
Sent from my LG-D801 using xda app-developers app
What indicates that he was looking for an S4 forum? Both roms he mention are G2.
i wouldnt think theres much of a difference in the roms except some mods which you can add on yourself thru stock rom
These roms are early builds and dont contain much, im staying on stock for now.

Please do not bump old threads. You could simply read through the development thread of the kernel and make your own decision on the stability of the kernel.

Just curious what most people that were on Knoxraid are switching to. I have to say Knoxraid has been working great for me. I guess it won't be updated anymore so I'm looking to update my Rom

Most popular seem to be FireNote and dynamic kk. FireNote seems to be a bit more stable with great speed and battery life. I have been averaging about 1 day 8 hrs with 6-7 hrs of screen on time. Dynamic brings the latest and greatest kit kat as well as some customization. It has some bugs but the developer has been great about updating and fixing bugs very quickly!
FireNote Powered!
I'm running fire note it's flawless

Firenote is my choice. Best speed stability and long battery life on stock look. My everyday rom in Stock slot.
Alliance is for those who loves to customize. Endless customization possibility and great rom as well. It's in my slot 1.
If you like KK rom, dynamic is the best one out right now but there are a bunch of other great devs are pushing new one that are great as well.
You just have to try it out and see which one suits you best.

I'm on the same boat. On knoxraid KitKat but I don't know if any other roms have inverted (black) app and setting backgrounds. Simply a must have with oled.

I've been using Dynamic Kat 1.3 after making the switch from Kn0xraid. So far I really like it. Might try out Fire Note as others are reporting good results.
Not quite the right thread for this request, but is there a mirror link still out there for the latest KnoxRaid add-ons?
Otherwise, I'm in the same boat. Itching to check out other ROMS. Anyone try the new S5 Experience ROM?
Looks promising.

I don't believe the Ron included gps fix but it works fine for most of the time. I would say I drive a lot using my phone as gps and 95% of the time works great. When I have error, I just turn off and on the GPS from quick setting and all works well again.

I'm running the dynamicKat right now... might switch to The S5 experience to try it out.
Thanks everyone for all the input. I think I'm going to give them all a try and see what I like the best. Main concern is battery life, speed and reliability.
I have tried the other KK roms and hate to say it but went back to Knoxraid.... Love the theme, and TW themes available in it too much.
Now to figure out how to build my own rom out of it and make it the way I want it.
I'm in the same boat as the OP and others here. But I went back to stock. Reason is because I got the new Gear 2 watch and saw many ROMs weren't working as well because they had features stripped from it such as Samsung Apps.
Any custom ROMs good with the Gear 2 watches?

Buddy release the rom for moto g 2014 and not moto x...edit your descriptuon
Please customize the rom to. Minimal ram use and superbly smooth and fast.
We have ram management issue as it closes the apps or crashes it suddenly if the ram is being used to extreme.
Try to give more ram thats it.

Good news
Try bringing the customization features like dynamic status & navigation bars from ROMS like cyanogenmod, PA, OMNI ROM, etc.
Slim-Shortcuts and Theme-Engine would be nice
