This is a collection of the apk and odex files you can remove in the System/App folder. I've made this list from trial and error.
By removing the files it will free up massive amounts of space and leave very few processes running in the background.
I'm sure there are more things which can be removed. However this is a major improvement without losing much functionality of the phone.
Some things in the phone that I don't use (such as NFC) have been removed. That doesn't mean you don't use it. It's my personal delete list. If you see something that you use, leave it alone.
Once you remove everything watch your phone in standby. My battery will flat line for hours in standby now.
I will not be responsible for you breaking your phone. The only current way to backup these files is to make a zip of it before deleting them. If you delete the wrong files and your phone doesn't turn on you will have to restore it via odin and root it all over again. There is nothing we can do about this until we have a working recovery.

Someone told me that there are some apps I must disable or remove due to problems that may come if I remove att apps and factory reset the phone
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
There is already a thread for this... And probably the exact same information.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2470862
And as always, why do people insist on REMOVING apks. Just use pm disable. If you disable something that completely screws up your phone, you can factory reset if nothing else fixes it. Deleting, you'll have to restore a stock image.
That thread is for general bloat.... I need the att bloat list

just wondering is it safe to remove all the bloat from 340 or do i need any of them for my phone to run correctly?
Depends on what you're removing, anything that's available on market should be safe to remove.
Amazon kindle
amazon mp3
evernote
twitter
zinio reader
assistant free
accuweather.com
those should all be safe to remove, you should reboot after removing them all just to be sure
Will try that thanks

I have removed all those apps,I removed a total of 11 or 12 apps and no problems whatsoever....everythjng syncs,I get sms/mms and emails.I used unistaller for root,you can either remove or remove and backup just in case you need to install the apps again.
i read somewhere inside the internet that uninstalling bundled in-rom apps will cause errors when receiving official updates. don't take my word on this as I cannot confirm but I tought it was worth mentioning
Yup,maybe so,but I really don't care I can always do a manual installation.

It looks like you tried to flash a phone.apk or a dialer app that isn't stock. You didn't say what phone version you have (your signature mentions GT-I9505?) This forum is for the I337 variants. My suggestion would be to try and find the same version of firmware / ROM that you are currently using and see if you can get the correct phone.apk or dialer apk out of it and try to restore that way. Depending on you phone model and firmware, you might be able to restore with a nandroid (if you have one). If your bootloader is locked you might need to restore via ODIN and the proper firmware. Most thing you do will run the risk of wiping your data and contacts so back everything up first before you try anything to be on the safe side. If you don't understand the things I mentioned or if you don't know where to find something I suggest you use the forum's search function to find the information and tools you need. Good luck.
Phone
see two symbols of battery, you were trying or tried to do for that to happen, and if you can tell the model of your phone, greetings

Had this bug the other time, only way to fix it is by factory reset the device and reflash the rom, its a bug that was present in android v4.3, but fixed in v4.4+.

Go to the Battery details in your settings as tap the mm-qcamera-daemon app the details will appear see if you have option to force stop, disable, delete the app start do force stop and see if it works as it may affect the camera itself so wouldn't disable or delete it.
The issues in 4.4.3 I think it was and mainly affected the Nexus but is was caused by 3rd party apps that access the camera, I don't think the specific app was identified but if you have installed apps such as Skype, Snapchat, Instagram remove them to see if the problem goes away completely, I would remove them all then install them back one at a time to try and identify which one is causing it that's if you have these type of apps installed.
If you are rooted then install Titanium Backup and see if the app appears in the list and freeze it, I think you would need to purchase TB to get this option.
Some things for you to try before you have to do a factory reset.
I searched the forums but I can't find any thread which compiles some sort of list for the Note 4 so far. Can someone point me to the right thread?

Here you have an "automatic" debloater:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/themes-apps/cwm-bloatware-removal-script-t3067501
The forum is full of those ..
Though freezing/stopping apps first .. then if so you wish uninstall them is the safest way .. I don't recommend auto debloaters at all for the simple facts that devices/Roms differ and devs can't possibly test all of them ..
Key is : stop what you don't use "now" delete what you are sure that you'll never use ..
For privacy reasons all pre installed apps that can be downloaded "should be deleted and installed freshly " especially after rooting and using privacy apps that cloak such as xprivacy ..
Apps that are pre-installed would know everything about your device even if you block their access & permissions later on ..

Hey fellas,
I've done some flashing on android before, but only on smartphones, instead of a car multimedia. My model is ZED AN817DK.
It looks like this:

"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

}
The launcher it came with is kinda disgusting, so I installed Nova Launcher instead.
Regardless, the system barely works, even on the stock settings / factory reset status.
Apps are crashing, changing the audio option in Waze takes a whole 2 minutes to even open up the menu for the option
(the app works but the input is unresponsive for 2 minutes until the menu appears).
I've tried contacting the shop I bought it in and they sent me a "firmware" update in the form of an APK file that will not launch in the device. I don't think I saw an option in it's administrator settings or anywhere else to update firmware via file (only check for firmware update - and it's always "up to date").
So I think I'll resort to flash a custom rom on this. I'm a bit worried since in the scenario where things go wrong I rely only on a pen hole style reset button which I don't fully trust to reset successfully if a custom rom is installed.
Is there a general flashing guide for these devices? How safe is it, as in what are the chances of completely bricking the device?
Are there general or common roms that work well on these devices?
