Following instructions on this forum I installed droid 2 bootstrap in order to have clockworkmod recovery.
Then I installed rom manager and installed the latest clockworkmod recovery from it.
Now everytime I reboot or powerup after a shutdown, the phone always launches
clockworkmod recovery first
I have to give a couple of times the reboot system in cwm recovery and go through a few reboots before the system normally boots up.
Has anyone had this type of problem and maybe solved it?
Thanks a lot
Hello, I could us a little assistance. I was trying to install CM on my new Verizon LG G2 (VS980). I was able to root using ioroot, dump aboot.img, lokify CWM 6.0.4.4, loki_flash the recovery, and boot into CWM. When I tried to sideload the CM 10.2 image, I got some error about unable to lokify boot (it was missing /system/bin/loki.sh). It looks like the problem is that the pre CM 11 images have an old version of loki that fails regularly. It said it had aborted the installation, but something got totally hosed, as when I attempted to reboot, I got into a "secure boot unsuccessful" loop. I've made a verison of the CM 10.2 zip with the latest version of loki_patch and loki_flash from github, but I can't seem to get into recovery using the buttons (might be doing it wrong as the only time I went into recovery I just did adb reboot recovery) to try flashing another rom or return to stock. I can get in to download mode by holding up during boot, but I don't have easy access to a non-linux machine to use the lg mobile support tool. Is there any way to return to stock without a windows computer?
Edit:
Update, I was able to get back into recovery by unplugging the USB (apparently it doesn't like to boot into recovery if the USB cable is connected). Installed my patched CM 10.2 and everything worked like a champ.

how did you patch cm 10.2
Hey All,
So here is what happened. I had the Maluidus ROM installed and wanted to try the KK zip that cloudyfa made. I flashed it, and it went well. However when I booted I could only get to the verizon screen. I can boot my phone but into PHILZ recovery I can not access download mode. When I try to use adb to sideload a rom I type adb devices, and my device is not listed. The drivers are installed as I used IO root to to root it. Anything I can do in recovery to add a zip to the internal sd card? any help?
****Edit**** When in recovery the device is not recognized and the drivers can not be installed.
Hi,
After trying to update my lg g2 (d800) using ota I bricked up my phone, following is the situation:
-- The phone keep restarting itself at lg logo (Bootloop)
-- No download mode is activated (using Volume Up + inserting usb cable) and instead it boots into system recovery 3e
-- I also believe the phone is still rooted as I did it before the phone bricked
-- No custom recovery was installed
-- Can't adb or fastboot, only sideload is available is system recovery 3e menu.
My question is can I
1. Flash any possible rom using adb sideload? (from system recovery 3e)
2. Flash TWRP or CWM using adb sideload?
3. Can I go to fastboot mode?
4. Can I flash any img files using abd sideload to get download mode?
I cant to stock using kdz or tot method.
Please give me any hints or ideas? Completely stuck right now
I posted another thread too:

My device is bricked, and It was pre rooted and Twrp recovery install but after installing custom rom in got stuck on boot screen. I was unable to access the twrp so I flashed the twrp using minimal fastboot and tried different version of Twrp but none of them are working, I am not able t touch the options. Plzzz...help.
