Forum, last night ( 11/08/2013) I started receiving the Security Information Question. Please see screen shot. I am hesitant to click 'Update'. When I click on 'View Apps' it simply takes me to all my downloaded and installed apps.
My set up.
Un-rooted 4.3. Unfortunately I was stupid to go from Rooted 4.2.2 to 4.3. I did do a complete reset after update.
Any help is appreciated.

I clicked update and everything works great. I don't get any security warnings and all my apps work without any warnings. I am rooted on MJA with the hotspot mod, xposed framework and wanam module running an no problems after hitting update.

I was rooted running 4.4.4 and upgraded to lollipop using the method to keep root, and that's how mine booted up. The only way I know of to get rid of that is to Odin back to stock and then take the lollipop update OTA.
Was just using my hotspot last night fine and woke up this morning to it not working.
Any ideas?
Android Version 4.4.2
I am a noob at this so please leave detailed explanations with links if possible.
Did you update your ROM? Because if a system update was applied that would wipe your mod. Other wise if you reflash your mod this should fix the problem. Also make a backup prior to flashing anything

As far as I know I did not update anything, could it have done it by itself?
Try resetting your phone and router.

Can close the thread. Still don't know why it happened but a restart fixed it.

Is this a known thing? I first noticed it in the Google Messenger app but it seems to have spread to most apps. I'm running stock (MPH24.49-18) without root on Verizon.
Included Tapatalk screen as an example, can barely read the recent changes block in the play store due to the gradient.

Ok, that's really strange. Phone had been running for 400+ hours so I went ahead and restarted it. Now everything looks fine again... even the screenshot I attached to this post.
My phone is rooted and today I saw a new notification from system to update my phone (print screen). So now what I have to do? 'Cause I remember that rooted phones can't find to new updates... I need help, do I update it or not?
ps. I didn't search for this update. Just appeared by itself.

Root doesn't make your phone unable to patch just by being rooted. It comes from being detected. If you rooted with magisk and didn't go crazy editing it's likely successfully hidden. Even if it's not perhaps your phone downloaded it pre emotively before you rooted and the timing is just coincidence.
If you take the update you may lose root though
Hello XDA,
A simple and naive question.
Magisk just updated on my OnePlus 8 Pro (IN2025). I updated the manager to the latest version -> d0896984(316).
I suppose I should also update the Magisk to the latest (pic1)
When I click update, which option should I select ? - See pic 2
I just want the Magisk to be updated without having to reconfigure / reinstall apps / reset the phone etc.
