Blacktox forum for gt-n7100 bt4.1.1 4.4.2

As I have seen in recent days black tox rom for gt-n7100 4.4.2..I have been using it from past few days and I can bet you I have never used such a smooth and fantastic fully featured rom in my Gt-n7100 .So basically this forum is to help users who can't find black tox thread in xda as they are a part of arabic forum..this forum would also include links to future updates ,problems while installing current rom etc.
the main features of the rom
all the s5 features and note 3 features..try it once you won't get back to any other rom..
All the credits will go to Black tox, as they are the developers of the rom..

you must be on 4.3 or 4.4 aosp rom or any other rom..and must have mj5 0r mj 9 bootloader !

I guess it's not available..I would not suggest you to flash this version..later on if i find it for n7105
you can flash Phoenix rom v17, dn3 etc ..my personal suggestion would be flash phoenix n7105..don't forget to make full backup from philz recovery while flashing

In the latest version 4.0.1 are too many bugs and will be updated soon, readable in the arab forum.

not to many bugs...you can't have it all unless samsung official firware come..yes it will be updated..patience is the key..while you can sit tight and enjoy blacktox and pray for the developer hard work

As I use my phone in business there are too many for me.
I know Blacktox V4 from the very first moment, have tested both versions quite a while and I will follow the development further on.
The Devs face the same problems as DN3-team.

@Androidwizzard yes devs are facing problem because it's not easy modding and other stuff..it takes a lot of time plus they have other work also ..

Most probably there will be same bugs..i have not used dn3...
Good news is that the developer is building this rom and new version will be released soon...

Not 100% but mostly and nobody of normal users knows at the moment what the next update will solve.
Look forward to the next version of both.

@ Androidwizzard yes dev Anwar & Skander Tounsy ...and I guess they will come in XDA with a big bang..just wait untill there project of blacktox gets complete..they will bless note 2

[Q] Absence of ROM Developers

Not trying to start fires or be disrespectful is it just me or have all the ROM Devs either left for another phone or are abnormally silent. Additionally does anyone have any info on a bootloader unlock or root for NC4? Like i said not trying to start a flame war just looking for any information. I appreciate everything that our current ROM Devs have been doing A+ job per the normal, just want me some cyanogenmod.

There are 4 or 5 nice ROMs that are updated on an almost regular basis.

Actually if you go look at the updated dates on the roms we have 3 that have been updated in a month 2 that have been updated in a week

You forgot Biggins ROM - Updated 6/9/2014.
A month between updates when you're stuck with stock software isn't long at all. Like I said, there are 4 or 5 that are updated on an almost regular basis.

SS can be treated like TWRP but the Aroma Installer will not work on it.

I would pm hsbadr, he has been working with the nc4 rom and is currently porting an S5 rom so he should be able to tell you what changes need to be made for Verizon. I appreciate your willingness to work on ports for Verizon . Thank you ![emoji4]

You are correct thank you for correcting me, maybe im just looking for a different style and am gettin impatient i really wish we had a unlocked bootloader and some cyanogenmod. I have tried Nova Launcher and it works really well but the settings, notifications the little touches that Samsung does with Touchwiz are not my thing i guess.

Have you tried using some Xposed modules to remove certain things and add others? Objective ROM is about as close to AOSP as you can get, pretty much everything that isn't needed to run the phone had been removed.

But the styling is still TouchWiz so all of the notification portion and the launcher and setting.apk.

I flashed your rom on my brother's sprint note 3. From what he's told me. He loves it.

Eclipse ROM is now updated to Kit Kat which gives a very AOSP look as well.

Or you can try and source a Developer Edition that comes unlocked and flash CM11

I do touchwiz roms only, I did many times aosp, not really my thing anymore....

We can only use the stock kernel on the Retail devices since they have a locked bootloader.

No sorry no one can make it has any Broadcom Based Samsung Devices have not recieved Kitkat update ....Probably it will never be released too... for kitkat taste only Custom Rom is solution

Why would you want it ? Its junk !!! Nothing beats CM11 !

Cause Stock always beats everything. And secondly CM11 has many bugs.

I think either you haven't tried CM11 or you just love stock but I don't think stock can beat CM11 in performance and there may be few bugs but most of them are minor bugs.
Even dual sim is working perfectly on most of the roms.
Stock is good too but not as good as CM11 in my opinion.
Thanks to all the awesome devs for making Grand much more GRAND by providing us with so many great roms. :good:

But at least there should be a stock option for people like me..

But until and unless Broadcom doesn't release any sources, I don't think we can get Stock Kitkat but maybe we may get Android L directly but that too AOSP based not samsung stock. :fingers-crossed:

Well..... Not quite
I dunno about kit kat, but in my S2 I was running CM10 I think it was and installed a couple of Sammy Apps and they ran fine, and I think there is a touchwiz nature ux i ran on it too. Maybe not a full port, god knows i've search for an allshare port and couldnt find it. So I tend to switch back n forth from CM11 to Sammy 4.2.2 tricked out by me.

[Request] Custom kernel for Kitkat roms

It will be great if we get custom kernel for kitkat roms.. Like miui/cm11 .. Kitkat roms are best in terms of stability. So I request devs to compile kernel for kk if possible

A request to your request.. build it your self, its faster than waiting for someone who is not gonna do it..

Its marshmallow time. Why you wanna go down to kitkat when the stable MM roms is available now? Its out date. As pirej said, build your own custom kernel if you really want it!!!

i don't know why? really like kitkat rom very much. i heavily use internet with both 3g and wifi for almost 15-18 HOURS per day. i know marshmallow is stable now but with heavy usage cpu temperature goes over 50 it makes phone very hot we can't touch it. in kitkat with same usage got temperature around 44-46 and never crosses 50. so i am staying with kitkat. he is just requesting u not forcing u to make a kernel

yeah like he just said, kitkat doesnt overheat like Lollipop and Marshmallow. Unfortunately building a kernel isnt as easy as flashing a Rom so many of us can't do it. I myself keep flashing over and over again, coz when im on M, my phone overheats and i miss MIUI interface. when im on kitkat, i feel outdated. i have an internal conflict (((

Yaah Kitkat is outdated but I like it more than MM and Lp and Its my personal wish that I want a Kitkat kernel.. I'm not forcing or ordering anyone to make a kernel for me.. I'm just requesting.. If I was able to make kernel then I would not ask others to make it.. Don't know whats your problem If I'm requesting

Every MM rom I've tried I couldn't proper use the GPS and the adb.
So, if you know any MM rom that these 2 features are working fine, please tell me!

No gps and adb bug here on my 2014813. If you want install bugless mm rom, install cm13 rom. Just follow this instruction http://forum.xda-developers.com/red...ll-official-cyanogenmod-13-t3374589?nocache=1, and you will enjoy it. Happy flashing bro!!

Thanks, it seems that everything is ok now.
I can use adb but only on PTP mode (which is not that bad anyway)
GPS seems ok too I thought it was device problem...

to the point directly.
what i have currently is stock rom 5.0 with lean kernel , and my device model SM-N9005.
what i look for is scratch stock rom with very very minimal fast build and i really don't care about themes or any visual things . i just wanted the best stable performance.
I'm sick of flashing my note 3 from rom to another , i wonder if there is any ready deodex stock rom so i can remove the unwanted apps manually or any rom you suggest and light me up.
pleases help me out because it's bean long time and I'm searching here and there without clue.

You could try temasek cm13, or resurrection remix. Both are very light builds.

Android 5.1.1 is a very stable version, dark lord 5.1.1, music liber version ,phronesis Last version, aroma music Last versions.

i did googled rayman95 and the rom was very nice from the first look
but the issue is it not support our region language and all letters shows x it's not supported at all.
My question is
How can I add language or let the device recognize it.

I have been using CyanogenMod 12.1 nightly builds for over a year now and it's stable, very close to pure android (with some addons) and is just great.

i have bad experience on that ROM on Note3 Unlike Note1 work just fine.

I really like rayman95 light version of ROMs but the issue is the device never recognize my language at all , I have no problems with English but many important emails and messages I can't read it at all and so far I don't know anyway to flash language pack "ARABIC".

Any updates on this? I have the same device, recently got it, want to see if there's a good rom to run to get rid of all the non-sense bloatware from the branded ROM that I have.
