I saw just the other day that international notes were getting the 4.0 update soon. Does anyone know if I would still get this update if I'm using the att network?

If your Note is the international version and its origin is from Germany, you should..
Carriers do not have control if you have International unbranded phone..
Please note that only German Notes got the update right now as far as I can tell..

Yeah it came originally in German and I haven't messed with it yet because I was waiting for this update.

Galaxy Note II - India

I got my Galaxy Note II in India after pre-booking at Samsung estore.
Firmware version: N7100DDALI9
I noticed it does not support split screen. May be we need to wait for the update. Anybody who got a more latest firmware version?

Samsung guys hav started Rollin out the update for split screen like the Korean versions, just saw a thread from a French user confirming it. Ull receive it too soon, do update some pics wen u receive it

When it asked to setup Software Update, I selected the wrong country (UK) even though I am in India.. is there some way to revert it to India.. or leaving it in that setting is fine?

XXALJ1 update definitely brings the multi-window goodness along with it..
Quick question on the same.. Has any one played around with the Edit button on the multi-window sidebar? Does it mean that there is some way of editing applications that can be launched within the multi-windows?

A rumor is which is not true ultimately.
If not April, May or June.
Occasionally optimism is not bad.
Edit : by the way a sammobile is unofficial mouth piece of Samsung.

Please learn how to use question marks and punctuation before you attempt to communicate in written form.
It is a nuisance to find out something is meant to be a question but was written as a factual statement.

Did Samsung officially listed the date of release of the S4? If not, all the crap you are saying are rumors you read on the internet.
Once Samsung, not SAMMOBILE, SAMSUNG, OFFICIALLY list the release date you can post these threads an state your case. Other than that you are playing what if. Anyways I'm not touching the subject anymore, this is a waste of time.

What we have heard is we will get everything that isn't hardware dependant, but Samsung can always change their minds.

S2 got most things the s3 has. I would assume the same will happen with s3. Things like screen resolution, 13mp camera, air view, pedometer, barometer etc won't come across due to hardware - these are the reasons you would upgrade. Exactly same as s2

Can you not upgrade your phone to the new Samsung software which is coming with the S4?
I am afraid the new software would bog down the S3 and I want my phone running fast and don't really want any of the new software features I have seen.
