Disabled power button wake

Hi all!
Does anybody know a way to disable the Power button from waking up the screen? I only want ta use to Home button for that.
I know that some cm and aokp roms has a function for this.
I'm currently on a slightly modified stock 4.3 rom.

As a mod or an answer described how to do it?
I want to be able to do it on my stock rom, if it's possible.
It's easy to disable home button waking up the screen but I just can't figure out to do the same with the power button...

It's a module that can be installed with the Xposed Framework.
There's a lot of real neat settings on there, I would recommend you use it.
It will allow you to keep stock but have some extra features you may want. (4 way reboot, call recording, etc.) without modifying / flashing other stuff.
Keep in mind you have to have root, though.

Is there a way to activate onscreen buttons?

Like instead of the capacitive and home hardware buttom. A line at the lower part of the screen is used to show on screen buttons

I've always used the line that you add to your build.prop file and it adds it by itself but it doesn't work in the note 3, I tried it and it went into an infinite systemui force close, so I guess it's a no go.
I'm also interested in them as I use the s pen too much and I hate pressing the home button with it.

I'm using Swipe Home Button. It uses gestures for various actions. It's not perfect, but it keeps my pen off the home button. No root required. I have it paired with a "screen off" app, so I can avoid using the power button, too.

There's also Virtual Button Bar, which is more of a pop-up menu of icons (can be set to always be visible). It's not being developed anymore, but it still works, and served its purpose while I was using it.

Just wanted to share a tasker profile I thought it was useful. ..I created a tasker profile that will replace the default swipe up to launch my magazine app with whatsap ( you can easily replace it with any other app)

Thank you sir! - Used this task and its working great. I just removed whatsapp and added the "regular" flipboard..
My magazine format stinks compared to the modified samsung "my magazine" version.

Save the profile in /sdcard/tasker/profiles
In tasker, press the profiles "tab" and "import".

use another launcher, or serach for an app called "pull up from fake jap" (its included in the xnote rom)

Well here's what i have now
- a tasker profile that will kill my magazine whenever its launched
- GMD Gesture Control to launch recent apps when i swipe from below on any screen ( it becomes really useful when you get used to it)

I want to execute tasker task on swipe but not by killing my magazines I want to completely disable it.

You'll get Force Closes if you freeze my magazine, the only other option you have is to use another launcher i guess

There is a builtin feature of assistant request in latest tasker wonder what it is.

Is it possible to restore the Mobile Data toggle in 4.3?

Just got the update and I am really annoyed at Samsung! why would they remove one of the most used toggles! does anyone know how to bring it back?

Someone on the mj6 leak said if you go to the quick toggle setup and reset it you'll get it back. But didn't work for me.

Yup I tried the same logical step, but to no avail.. SMH at Samsung! I did download the Data Enabler Widget which does the same thing, but still disappointed as to why they would remove an important toggle.. At least give us an option to restore it!

What about the power toggles app? Does that not work?

Apps work.. I use the data enabler widget.. but I want the stock settings. why would they remove such a thing..

I personally have never found a reason to want to toggle data on and off so I never even noticed it was missing. That being said, would you be able to use Tasker to watch for another quick toggle (such as S Beam or Blocking Mode) to activate/deactivate and then toggle data accordingly? At least that would give you a solution more closely related to what you are used to. Just a thought.

If there is root. It is possible im sure. They ported the new TouchWiz ui to the s4 last month with the circle settings.

Yeah, it doesn't work. It's just like Blocking Mode when the S3 was originally released. You could find it and turn it on in a similar way, but it didn't actually do anything when turned on (even though the icon was displayed in the task bar just like it is for this).

Yup the GN2 was the same way. It required extensive code to get it working right due to the integration with TouchWiz. I am hoping this might be quite a bit simpler.
I am going to compare the t-mobile code and the vzw code to see the differences.
