[Q] Water drops for dial pad tones??? - Verizon Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is it just my N3, or when dial tones are enabled, the tone for any number you press while dialing is a stupid water drop sound?
Does anyone know how to get standard tones for the dial pad?
TIA!

It is the water sound, you could change the sound but it would also change the other touch sounds from the water drop to whatever you used for the dial pad.

Dial Pad Volume

I have installed a number of different dial pads while I have had the phone. I am now back to the default.
I seem to remember theat the tone volume (when the numbers are pressed)changed with the phone volume. Now the volume is either loud or of if I have the sound muted.
Does anyone know how to get the varible volume on the key tones again?
Thanks
I did a search and couldn't find the answer to this. Does anyone know how to mute the dial pad tones and/or how to make them play through the earpiece, and not the speakerphone?

Dial pad on 8525 does not stay on after call connects

I am having a problem where my dial pad disapears on my screan after the call connects. It switches to speaker phone and mute options instead of staying on the dial pad. This is frustrating when I make a call that requires me to dial extentions or push numbers for options and the backlight has gone off. The only time it doesn't do this is when I call my voicemail.
So, is there a way to have the dial pad stay on after the call connects.
dont think so....
Just push the "Keypad" softkey on the left under speakerphone and note

number buttons are not disabled when in a call

Hi
when I’m making a call my ear is hitting some of the number buttons??
I here the number tones as my ear hits the buttons and when i have finished the call there are number in the dial box? o and the screen is black when in the call?
Can any one point my to a fix for this problem.

dialpad not working during call.

Pretty much like the title says.. when I make a call the dialpad box is grayed out and I can't brink it up. Getting annoying due to the fact that I cant get rid of the voice mail icon or enter pin numbers or anything along those lines.
Anyone have any ideas? I looked for a setting that would enable/disable this, but couldnt find anything.
I know it worked before.. so could an app or something I recently added have disabled it somehow?
When did this start and what were you doing just prior to this problem? Are you rooted?
yes, phone is rooted.
Really hard to say when it started. Ive done some more tests.. Any number I call, including random numbers(like 1234) will bring the dial pad up. only time It doesn't show the dial pad is when I call Softbank's(Japan) voice mail(1416).
Ive even tried to bring up the dial pad, like im going to be making another call, and it wont make the tones that notifies the voice mail service to do anything.
so I guess the question is, how does the phone know to activate the dial pad when you make a call?

[Q] S4 Phone Dialer Tone - i9500

I have an international i9500 unit.
How do you change the phone dialer tone from the water drops to standard DTMF tone? I tried but can only either turn OFF or turn ON to water drops.
I just wonder, do you also got the problem that you cannot navigate through the menu of a hotline, e.g. eBay customer support. You need to enter a 7 digits number which is impossible with my S4! It does not recognize the number.
