Hi everyone! I hv rooted my Nexus 4 and i m currently running the stock rom and kernel in my phone.
And it seems that the apps Touch Control does not support the stock kernel in android 4.2.2, meanwhile, it provides me with a 'stock kernel with enable module support'.
i wanna know if i flash this so call 'stock kernel with enable module support', will i be able to have google android system update? i mean the OTA.
Plz help

I much prefer KT 4.3 TW because I know it much better than any other. It's trusted. My close circle of friends running this kernel and I all prefer it.
So, I want to flash 4.4 Kit Kat to my Defy, now I'm on CM10 latest built and 2.6.32.9-gb08c3c8 kernel. And now I have few questions:
1. What's the difference between cm11-nightly-defy+/ and cm11-nightly-defy+3.0Kernel/ ?
2. If I flash cm11-nightly-defy+3.0Kernel/, will I later be allowed to downgrade kernel, and how (will flashing sbf do it)?
3. I have flashed roms before, but now I don't understand what's the flashing procedure, because I have seen few different ways of doing it and I'm not sure which one to use, so could you please tell me the right one.
4. In Quark's 4.4 project, what's the difference between AOSP and CM11?
I will appreciate any kind of help, thank you.
currently i am using franco kernel with stock rom and i want to flash back to stock rom and kernel. However, i cannot find the flashable 4.4.2 stock kernel! Can somebody can give me the link so i can flash it back to stock kernel
Beside franco kernel, any other kernel will support touch control in 4.4.2 with stock rom ?
Thats why if i want to flash other kernel, i have to go back stock kernel first, anyone can give me the link
Thank you so much !
Hello i need some input and help
I bought a new galaxy s4 value edition gt-i9515
So cusom recovery root and roms work
Recovery and rom only without touch and radio
Used cwn and rom from 9505.
So i think its a kernel issue...
As the device came with kitkat and i,m migrated from mtk platform where its possible to create twrp touch with stock kernel my question is there anything similar cause cwn from 9505 works not well (after restore i had to full wipe cause everthing fc, s)
Also i know that i have to repack a kk kernel for every rom version slimkat cwm stock...
Or has this changed?
So my thoughts i take the stock kk kernel and repack it to work with slimkat and my touch problems have gone.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I have both kernel but no pc and don't know how to repack.
So is her someone who can help me out
The better solution would be to add support for i9515 to some custom kernel but quick and dirty repack would do.
Thanks alot
