Modified Phone apk REQUEST - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have finally got my phone setup and working with the new Kit Kat launcher, however there is one problem. The stock phone.apk theme is hideous and the icon is also aweful.
I was wondering if any nice person that has the know how, would theme the dialer and make the theme xposed flashable.

[Q] Different theme choosers?

So I noticed that the theme chooser apk in Eclipse 3.1 does not theme some things that the apk in Blackbean or SmoothRom does. For example, camera and keyboard. Has anyone else noticed this? Does anyone know if it's possible to swap the apk between the ROMS?
thanks
Hi, I believe Theme Chooser is just the software that allow you to apply themes.
The actual modifications of the theme are in another apk that should be called "yourtheme.apk" or else.
So if you want to modify/swap images, do it in your "yourtheme.apk" not in Theme Chooser
Oh wow i wasn't aware of that. I will give it a go and see what happens. thanks

Theming entire Android system?

Hello guys,
Im building a custom rom which will be pure kitkat base on AOSP and will be name Bleach Xtreme. The problem is that for me to make it original and unique I need to theme it in white instead of any Black from kitkat. I like to see something different and unique. How can I archive theming to white the status bar, navigation background and same for the System Settings, SystemUI like popups etc and few system apps like calculator, etc?
I can use the help and willing to donate if ask or need it.
Thanks
Anyone have some time to guide? I see my concept was already stole on a new rom. Lol
Try using XPOSED Framework with XBLAST TOOLS and/or the Frame work.apk
Not much of a Dev but I know a Lil bit

Well the problem is that i know how to do that. I want to theme manually the framework-res.apk, Settings.apk and the systemui.apk. I want to theme the rom itself.
Thanks very much for your help

Theme zip files

Since Vzw has root now and SS I've been trying to find a compatible theme that'll get rid of Tw's ugly green and give me more of a AOSP stock KitKat look. I've tried Alliance Mod, and it works great besides the fact that when I first reboot upon applying the mod, if the screen turns off and the phone goes to sleep it won't turn on without a battery pull. I also tried Sicks black mod. It's made for ATT S5 (I think) but since it's just a framework mod I assumed it would work. But nope, just bootlooped (on his really cool logo BTW)
I'll link these here but what I'm asking is until we get a themed rom is there a flashable KitKat or L theme that is compatible with our VZW S5?
P.S. I have already used xposed so I know about all the modules that'll theme but I'm trying to get ART working on Elli's rom so I can't use xposed.
I'm only adding these links so you can see what I'm talking about. This is NOT my work.

[REQ] Black theme for LGMessage Popup

I was wondering if anyone can make me a theme for LGMessage Popup, I want it be black themed with white/grey/green/yellow text.
I'm using D80220b, kitkat 4.4.2. If it is impossible, is there a xposed module that works like LGMessage? I'm using heads up now, but I want to be able to text back on that popup which heads up doesn't have.
Thanks!

[Q] Want to theme phone

Not sure if this is the right place or not, but I just got my s5 tonight and I would like to theme it a bit by changing some icons. On my old phones, I would just pull framework res or sysUI and replace the pngs I wanted to, then push it back to the phone. It does not look like that is an option since it looks like most everything is qmg now. Should I use Samsung theme designer or do custom roms play nicer with custom themes? I am rooted, but I have not installed safestrap or a rom yet.
Check out themes n apps section.. or search for an app on xda called qmg2png. It'll convert qmg to png for editing
