I basically miss the picture in picture mode, I already forgot what its called. The samsung stock and lg had it, how can I get this camera feature on the my cm rom?
I'd like the LG camera as well, I think attempts have been made to port it but there are none that I know of that work.
Is there any camera apps that do this feature I wonder.

Hi everyone!
Right now I am using CM11 on my Galaxy S4 (International model) and taking pictures with the built in camera app (stock camera). Though, there is some troubles with the stock camera and other camera-apps that I've tried (Google Camera for example). Whenever I try to use HDR it either makes the camera crash that ends up rebooting the system, or the end result is just grey pictures.
So my question is basicaly if there are any fixes for this? I read about this http://goo.gl/orWkC0 app that is supposed to fix it thanks to the supplied libs, but are there more fixes like this? Because obviously a normal app isn't enough. And btw, is there also a similar fix that enables slow-mo capture? Because what I can remember the S4 does support 120fps @720p in the stock TW-camera...
Thanks for all answers, looking forward for a fix!
HDR works fine for me, using the google camera app. But I am using a 5.0.1. GPE rom.
So.. It may be a rom problem?
Hi, i changed the dpi of the screen, now i can´t use stock camera anymore. My phone is not rooted.
If i install a new camera-app, will there be used the samsung drivers or will only use stock camera samsung camera use the samsung drivers?
Will a 3rd-party camera-app be as good as stock one and make same good pictures?

Only samsung stock camera is working with heart rate sensor to make selfies?

Stock dialer is not displayed correctly, too. But it is only displayed a little bit smaller, buttons are working.
With camera app i can also see only smaller screen, but it seems that buttons are still to press on the place they were before, but now they are diplayed a little bit to the right. So i can use stock camera app, but i have to press buttons with good luck...
Can Someone Port Portrait Mode Enabled Google Camera For Nougat Custom ROMs ?
I doubt if it's possible or not as of now. Google camera which is present for Oreo ROMs is possible only because it follows the 64 bit architecture. As nougat ROMs goes for 32 bit architecture even now, it's not possible, unless someone ports the Google camera itself, which again after 3.x version I've not seen
Thanks!! For info..
But there is a app named Fabby.. Wich works well for selfie but bug in rear camera
Yeah many other apps might do the same trick,!

Hi there!
I flashed the ResurrectionRemix rom, but the stock camera app that comes with it does not seem to allow changing the aspect ratio and resolution (we were several people to look into it and did not find the option).
Then, I installed CameraMX, but it bugs a lot with panorama, and cannot switch to front camera (when I click the button to switch, it says on the back camera).
Because, at least in my memories, the stock camera app of the OP5 was near perfect, I'd very much like to install it in place of these 2 bugged camera apps that I have now.
Is it possible to do this?
Thanks a lot!

Also use appropriate section for asking questions.
Thanks for the reply! I'm gonna try that
However, am I not in the "apps" forum?
