[Q]Cyanogenmod+fingerprint

So I've bought my G900F a while back and flashed cm11 because I've had it before the only problem is, there is no fingerprint scanner... is there a way I can add this with aroma add-on package?

No way to use fingerprint on non Samsung TouchWizz firmware.

Cm11 is outdated, have you tried any of the cm12 roms?
I'm running fusion right now on my s5 and it's pretty slick but I do restore my touchwhiz Rom every once in awhile for the few features it has that cm will never have. (I.e. Fingerprint scanner, better camera driver, etc)

Screen goes black on phone call GT-i9500 CM 12.1

Hi all,
I am having this problem in CM 12.1 , like the screen goes black while a call is initiated.The screen wont turn up untill the call is disconnected.
I tried different nightlies , even the latest one , but problem is still there. my baseband version is DDUHOA1
Does the modem have any role in this issue? Or is it a hardware issue ?
The proximity sensor works fine on stock rom or any other roms that i have installed so far, including cm based other roms like GearCM ,Euphoria. But on official cm 12.1 the issue pops up..

this is due to proximity sensor happens to me all the time if u have xposed installed then download sensor disabler in xposed download section that will stop black screen on calls hope that helps u

I installed Xposed . and then Sensor Disabler. Turned off Proximity sensor as you said
but no luck . The issue is still there.

Hello everyone and sorry for bothering you with repeated question that was answered a lot of times in the past,
So i flashed CM 12.1 Nightly on my Galaxy S3 Neo GT-19301i from : download . cyanogenmod . org /?device=s3ve3g
My Camera and Flashlight wont work. I get the usual Cannot connect to the camera pop up window and my flashlight is not detectable
by any app i've tried. I ve tried to flash a lot of zips that were supposed to fix my prob with the camera and apparently they didnt.
I would realy like someone to give me a detailed on how to fix those to problems.

Nope , still cant connet to the camera. Do i have to wipe anything before or after the flash ?

Wipe everything, flash the rom then flash the last camera fix (one find among older CM12.1 unofficial Nikolas releases). That should be all as I don't know what & how you flashed in between.

be sure you not change file system to f2fs... this file system causing same problem sometime.
Another to need atention is : if you do complete factory reset included format partition, after first boot, twrp take a question about you want to remain system readonly.
On that case set system to writable and do the camera patch.

Maybe you have a hardware problem?

Galaxy S3 Neo GT-19301i and now i dont have hardware problem with other ROMs they work properly

[help] [dev's] [galaxy e5|e7] rom galaxy e5 in e7 cm 13 works

the business is as follows DEV'S, I tested the ROM CM 13 of E5 on my GALAXY E7 (E700M) modifying the updater-script file and managed to make the ROM work seemingly, the problem is in the touch that does not work and the screen if I press the power button and it turns off, it does not turn on again the screen, the cellphone only makes normal noises and sounds with volume keys) without bootloop or anything, I tried to restore the original boot.img of the Galaxy E7 to see if it works the touch but then it was in bootloop! Do you think it would be possible to make it work? because it already works really! only not 100% hahahah
I WANT GALAXY E7 ANDROID 6.0+! HELP :crying:

you have to build a cm13 kernel for galaxy e7, then touch will work, but still bug in back camera

Where can I find source files to compile? They have managed to make recovery for e7, I think someone has kernel source files so ...

Does the Galaxy E5 Lineage can not be? because I tested it here and everything worked, until the chip sim 4g ... only the touch that did not work and I wanted to see this about the kernel to see if it would work, I could not compile or make a kernel that works the touch

image works but when I turn off and turn on the screen, the image does not return

I will build a special kernel for galaxy e700xx (3g-4g)
and compatible with rom cm12-14
but you should try it

please i dream to see working custom rom 6.0 or 7.1.1 on my galaxy E700H before i die .
this phone hasn't any working custom rom in any site , why all careless about it .
please we need to change poor performance of kitkat and poor appearance on it , lollipop update on this phone have lot's of bugs like videos lag in youtube and poor battery usage .
we need good rom with 6.0 M Or 7.1.1 N TW Or Mi rom.
please make kernel for this rom to be able to build custom roms

couldn't find anywhere, few tried after changing build script which didn't work properly.
few had issues like touch and screen lights.

guys i rooted my phone and i installed the linearge but the fingerprint sensor stopped working there is any solution ???

perhaps a kernel issue? in all honesty, it has to be a kernel issue as that is the chunk of software specifically designed to allow the OS to talk to the hardware. Reflash the ROM, im betting part of it failed even if it said that it didnt

I'm currently on LOS, fingerprint works great here, but a couple months ago it just wasn't implemented. Maybe try reflashing?
