Just updated my firmware to MJ6 and everything is great apart from when I make a call and press the call button the screen immediately goes off and I have to press the home button to reactivate the screen this didn't happen on previous firmwares so I'm wondering if it's a bug other people are experiencing. ?

As it says above, any work around? Spoke to SE. They say that the phone does not do this! and I should check screen timeout......................
I think right after the call you have to press the home button to avoid locking. Like right after.

I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to add sound to the power button when pressed to turn screen off on my N4 CM10.1 JB 4.2.2.

In settings/sound, there is Screen lock sound. The sound is delayed just a hair after the power button is pushed and until the screen turns off.
iphone?

Hello,
Anyone having the same issue I'm having? During a normal call my phone won't wake when I remove it from my ear. Even if I push the home button or power button it won't turn on at all. This is a problem especially when I want to end the call or select different options. It seems like the phone is still up against my ear and the touch screen is not active. I don't know of this is a proximity sensor problem software problem. Any help is much associated. Thank you in advance.

Try to clean the proximity sensor.
And type this on your dialer *#0*# to check if there is an issue.

Thanks a lot for the quick reply. I did the test and seems like it's working. Even during the test Sometimes it still doesn't turn off on its own. Any other suggestions? I doubt it right.

After installing Kitkat on Note 3 lte I noticed that the screen freezes and doesn't respond to finger touch. Also the Home button doesn't respond to finger pressing. I have to use S-Pen instead. After a few minutes the note 3 becomes normal... Could it be the Kirk rom that causes it... I'm open to all suggestions except taking it to the service center because of warranty void.. Thanks in advance...

Hello,
Only had the phone a day and I don't know if it's just me but I've noticed that when I use the S-View case with my Note, if I am on a call the loudspeaker button doesn't actually put it on loudspeaker. It doesn't really matter in one way as i can open the cover and press the button but it's a shame it doesn't seem to work.
Is it just me.... what are other people's experience of it ?
I'm on Kit Kat.
