I've been having issues getting a 4g signal running cm 10.2 and am wondering what the optimal network mode is. Thanks in advance

Hi.
I just came from iPhone and never experienced Android phone.
For Nexus 4 with stock android 4.2.1, there are intermittent/transition issues toggling from wifi to AT&T 3G.
The 3G (HSPA+) dosen't seem to get attached automatically to network after coming out of wifi zone.
I see no blue with H signal (logo) on the status bar when wifi is not available.
Does anybody experience same/similar problem with Nexus 4?
Hi Guys,
I'm running "cm-10.1-20130528-Giovanni-jflteatt" and barely able to get any AT&T network signal. Its either 1 bar or none where as before with the untouched galaxy s4 (touchwiz) I was getting anywhere from 3 to 4 bars. I have tried going to different place (friend's house, bar) but the issue is the same everywhere.
Anyone else seeing this?
Goodness. I thought it was just me. The signal bar is almost always at 1 bar now and LTE is almost impossible to lock onto in my house.
Sent from my SGH-I337 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
My network settings:
Network Mode: LTE/GSM/WCDMA
APN: ATT LTE (pta)
reflash to stock
I went back to "cm-10.1-20130524-NIGHTLY-jflteatt-loki" multiple times and saw the same issue.
Note: this is only for WCDMA mode not LTE mode in LTE mode it keeps a signal but once i switch to just T-mobiles 3g hspa+ it will drop signal to nothing (zero bars) then go back but it does this constantly.. Is anyone else having this issue with the .33 radio??
wasnt it fixed in later radio versions and this is what you have to sacrifice for LTE?
im on the latest PAC rom.

Hello All,
I use VZW variant VS980.
I came from a Rezound and never had issues dropping to 3g at home or work (I always had good 4G coverage). I have been trying different modem/radio versions (10b, 11a, 12a, 12b) but it just seems that the G2 does not have a great antenna. Or is there something I can do to improve the signal strength and stop it from dropping to 3G? Also, sometimes it appears the only way to get it out of 3G is to reboot or go into airplane mode and then turn it off.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
After installing CM11 nightlies I have to manually set network mode to not use LTE/4G, if it's on automatic and connects to 4G it will go into roaming mode. If I allow data use when "roaming" the speeds are as usual. I have the European SIM model Note 3.
Can anyone help with this?
