Why would you need BMI1 when you have BMI3 on sammobile, is there any specific reason?

OK, guys, my Note 3 N900 regional locked, I flashed pre-root ROM and changed factory CSC, now I am going to get unlock code and I think I need to put back KSA CSC in order this unlock code will work, am I right? ROM is N900XXUBMI5, CP N900XXUBMI2 like in original KSA. But CSC changed from N900OJVBMI1 to N900OXEBMI5. I am afraid because of this non KSA CSC I will not be able to unlock my Note 3. That is why I would like to download and flash KSA CSC: N900OJVBMI1. Only CSC, not ROM or Baseband. Please, who can provide me with any link???
Can't you not extract the csc files from the complete firmware?

I have downloaded firmware, but there is only N900XXUBMI5_N900OJVBMI1_N900XXUBMI2_HOME.tar named file, is it possible to extract CSC from this file? Can you explain me how?

you can extract it from the original file just like extracting a file from a compressed file such as zip, rar, tar or any one,
and this is a like for many CSC has been extracted from the original firmware files.
check this out and you will find it.
https://mega.co.nz/#F!n9JnyI5S!VKmm1hxHlhIxWo1bXeIfLA
I did it by cygwin command: tar -H ustar -cf csc.tar cache.img hidden.img and flashed by Odin. Now CSC is OK. Waiting for unlock code
Please, close this topic. I did all needed

Apologies for creating an extra thread but i have still cant get my sm-n9005 working. I keep receiving a SW Rev check fail when flashing.
now what i think has happened is i have flashed a BTU firmware. the device is a TGY model so i am assuming that the bootloader on the BTU firmware is newer.
When trying to flash TGY firmware obviously has a older bootloader which i am guessing?
I would really really really appreciate if anyone could just help getting the phone on atleast?
Thanks
Only way I sorted this was to flash the original firmware that came with the phone or whatever latest update I had updated to.

You have upgraded your bootloader by flashing N900ZSUBMJ2_N900OZSBMJ2_BRI, (your phone now has MJ2 build), you can not downgrade bootloaders on Samsung phones so you cant not go back to N900XXUBMJ1_N900OJVBMI5_KSA.
You will need to wait for your stock rom to be upgraded to MJ2 or you can flash CMW/TWRP and run custom roms.
Some users say Kies 3 Beta using 'Emergency Firmware Recovery' work to get their phone back to original but it didnt work for me.
The same happened to me but my stock was upgraded a few days later - had to run custom rom for nearly a week but back with stock rom now.
Hi guys,
I'm pulling my hair out at this point. 1 week, no cellular data, I've tried everything but uncovered I might need to install a nonhlos.bin file?
Can someone point me to the nonhlos.bin file I need for these stats:
TELUS S4
I337M
4.3
Baseband: I337MVLUEMK6
Kernel: 3.4.69-KT-SGS4-JG4.3-TW-INTL-11.14.2013--GC59DFA
Build Number: GoldenEye 14 XXUEMK9
Edit: Baseband says MK6, Build Number says MK9. Is this a problem?
Edit: $5 via Paypal to whomever can get me up and running
Here is a link to my pcloud with modem and nonhlos
Just extracted from telus 4.3 rom

You'll need mobile odin if you want to flash them. There's one or two threads in the general subforum that describe the process.

Here is where to go after to return to stock, you need to used the odin version here or else stock f/w dont flash. Make sure you do not re-partition. Follow the guide perfectly and make sure your current bootloader is same version of stock fw your returning to. I didnt bother resetting flash counter with triangle away, just adds more brick risk. after that I re-rooted with chainfire su for canada, installed cwm recovery via playstore, upgraded to philz recovery. Next i installed infamous 10.1 R2 rom *make sure your phone is compatible with this rom. From there i followed tutorial to upgrade to mk6 modem from above. Finally i wiped factory resest via philz recovery and installed a kitkat build that require mk6 modem. All working great!!
see
http://www.androidrootz.com/2013/06/how-to-unroot-unbrick-galaxy-s4.html
My bootloader is MDJ so i returned to MDJ stock! I did not have knox and still do not. Be carful not to accidentally install knox know upon first boot with stock fw.
I believe if you have an MK6 bootloader then it means you have knox.
Another safer option is to restore via samsung tool but then you may loose some root functionality
I've managed to successfully install 4.4.2 onto Rogers bell SaskTel and telus Note 3. Modem and CSC from the latest Canadians Carrier and flashed with Odin 3.09 along with TelCel (Mexican) 4.4.2 files below. Download link file in the attached file.
Good luck all Canadians....

All the SM-N900W8 you can change the CSC by doing *#272*your IMEI # ,and the list of CSC will pop up .for Rogers chose RWC , keep in mind after chosing RWC this will factory reset your phone and reboot to the provider you ask for .
