Hi guys,
I wouldn't create a thread normally, as I'd like to Google for days until I find a solution, but after 3 days I am at loss and so are my nerves.
The situation:
Google Play stopped downloading apps. A common nuisance, so I went and deleted the cache, data n stuff. Didn't work.
So I went a bit more far and uninstalled Play and Play Services. Didn't work.
Now I couldn't download services. So I uninstalled Play and got an apk, reinstalled. It started crashing.
I went for a factory reset to get everything into the default state. Google Play wasn't there.
Okay, so I tried to flash a new factory image through Wug's Toolkit.
The process got stuck at "erasing userdata" and I got into a softbrick.
Okay, maybe bootloader was the problem, so I tried to flash a new one. Who knew that the jwr66y was ****ed up?
Got the right one from jwr66v - it get stuck on "writing bootloader.
Now I can't get to recovery "booting failed" or "signature mismatch". I can't do anything, since I am able to fastboot only and it just doesn't want to write.
Guys, I sure hope this is a challenge to you - because right now I think I tried EVERYTHING and nothing works. I am really in a mood to go and buy myself a new Nexus 2013.
But I'd like to avoid that if possible. Help please?

i tried updating to an rooted kitkat version as we as get the Native hotspot going for my Sprint GS4.. however i did something wrong and now. i keep getting pop ups stating "unfortunately, SAE has stopped as well as many other programs.. how can i get this fixed.. i have tried factory reset, and to return to an stock firmware, but i cant get odin to pass. it keeps failing.. I have downloaded all the necessary stock firmware files, drivers etc.. . I can get a recovery to flash,, but the pop-ups for "stopped apps" still appear.. and i cant get pass them.. .
Same issue here
I have tried odin with stock tar and it fails I have no idea where to go next. I am sure it has something to do with the services.jar and services.odex files but how do you get around that.

Dude here is your answer use odin and install clockworkmod latest addition... then download stock kit kat zip put it on your sd card and install via clockworkmod. This work for me cause I was having the same issue. Peace out.
Also having this issue. It started before I rooted. First I did a factory reset, (and assuming that would fix the issue on a completely stock unrooted phone) decided if I was doing a reset there would be no safer time for me to root. So I CF-Autorooted and enabled native hotspot. I believe this is possibly somehow related to my phone and the play market because updating or installing apps seemed to be the common element triggering them to start failing. Google Search would fail over and over every half second after I dismissed the notification making the phone all but unusable, so I did another factory reset, and now SAE (presumably samsung account setup?) is what fails without even the half second in between, completely unusable. I'm afraid my last hope is to one-click it.
Hello! So... let me describe what's going on with this phone. A couple days ago errors like com.process.acore and com.process.gapps started showing and the apps just went crazy... crashing all the time. I tried every single method for fixing those stupid errors but none helped. And when I say all methods I mean all methods. But the thing is that when I did a factory reset nothing happened! NOTHING! So I started deleting applications, google accounts and stuff that I don't need. Then I did a restart but.... everything WAS STILL THERE! I did a research and the problem seemed to be the Automatic Restore. I disabled the AR, removed all apps, google accouts, etc. and guess what? Everything was the same as before. (Same thing with hard reset!) Google Play Store crashes like [email protected]#$ too... (yes I tried removing updates) and let me just say that I can't even install apps because I get the parsing error. Not all the time ofc. I tryed to fix this too but when I manage to install an app and run it I get errors like: "com.(app process) has stopped" and the app crashes.
Then I downloaded the KDZ_FW_UPD tool. I tried to flash the device like 87312617 times with factory rom's (first one / latest one). No success. I mean that the kdz tool finishes the process without erorrs. Phone restarts and DANG! I'm lost guys. If you have any ideas PLEASE share them. I even got the LG PC Suite and tried to update from there... It shows that I'm with V10 and there is an update 'till V20K. I ran the update, everything went well, phone restarted and after that the PC Suite shows the same thing... that i'm with v10 and that there is an update.
My android version is 4.0.3 if this matters for some reason. If you need some more info please ask! I don't know what to do... HELP!
Thank you for the time spent on reading this thread! Waiting for your comments
Regards, Puff.
Hi,
I have an Acer A501 on which I installed CWM and a custom rooted 3.2 ROM shortly after purchasing it in order to use a certain app that required root permissions. I noticed that after the root, the device would give me a "server error" when trying to download apps from Google Play, but I didn't really pay much attention to it, since I didn't download new apps very often and I figured I could just get APKs from other sources. Recently, though, I have been trying to give the tablet a new life by getting Google Play back to work (since searching for APKs on dodgy sites isn't exactly the most reliable way of getting new apps) and maybe installing ICS. I flashed a stock 3.2 ROM and got rid of CWM, since I assumed it was the reason for Google Play not working, but apparently I was wrong, since I am still getting that error. I have also been trying to flash a stock ICS ROM, but every single one I've tried so far shows an error (the Android robot with the yellow warning sign) almost immediately after starting to flash. Does anyone know the solution to these problems? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Bump... Anyone?

Yeah, I remembered I had the same error.
Anyway, pls try to check this link...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2733038
In my case, I just removed the existing account. Then, add the same account & it is working OK.
Thanks for the link. As for removing and re-adding the account, I have done that multiple times, to no avail. I have tried force-stopping and clearing the cache of Google Services Framework, as suggested in the thread, but now, I get a connection error merely trying to add a Google account to the device... I even did a factory reset, but I still can't add a Google account, as if the Google Services settings hadn't been reset at all.
EDIT: I just realized that the reason I got a connection error after the factory reset was not being connected to Wi-Fi. However, after clearing the cache and data of Market, Google Services Framework and Download Manager, I get the same connection error while trying to add a Google Account, even while connected to a Wi-Fi network.
EDIT 2: I have rebooted the device, and now I'm back where I started. The error code is RPC:S-7:AEC-0 LOWQ-XYAM-M7MTS.
Any Luck? Same problem here with a stock A500 after a factory reset. I've tried two good google accounts. Getting "Google Talk Authentication Failed" and " Error retrieving data from server"
Hi,
I got a Jiayu S3+ rooted with 5.1, and all of a sudden my google play store stopped woking well.
First it started to stop downloading apps/ updating, it would get stuck in near end %.
Then, the play store started to stop working, i was advise to clear the cache, of google play services and the play store etc.. it worked for afew days until goes back to square 1.
I was advised to install a newer google play store to fix all the issues. i did that, but now google play doesnt work, always saying stop working when i cliked, then i got a error from google play services:
Tried to do a factory reset - didnt change a thing.
Tried to flash a recovery rom - didnt change a thing
Tried to clear all the cache from the Recovery settings - didnt change a thing.
Also tried to unroot, but still nothing.
Is anything else i can do?
Maybe i flashed made a mistake on flashing roms, never done that so its not done well.
If someone could help me get a good rom for my device, a costume one or even stock with 5.1, and explain me how to do it i would very happy.
Hi Guys!!!
So I have a Samsung S4 (from T-mobile) and I was flashing custom roms, trying to figure out which one I like the best when suddenly, during one of the roms I was testing, google play stopped working. Everytime I opened it it would crash, so I thought, maybe it's just this rom. Turns out it wasn't.
I tried a couple more roms and the problem got even more... problematic. I tried going through the settings and clearing the cache but now even the settings would stop working and eventually every google app like google play services and google play would stop working the moment I turn on the phone. At this point I decided to flash the stock rom with Odin and for a while it was giving me problems because it was write protected. I eventually got it to flash but not only did it NOT solve these errors, but it also gave me a new one. It says:
"System UIDs Inconsistent. UIDs on the system are inconsistent, you need to wipe data partition or your device will be unstable."
After going through that, the endless errors pop up and the background of the phone is black.
Any help guys? Thanks in advance!!!
Did you actually wipe before flashing the stock ROM?
Yes I did. I solved the UIDs problem and the only problem that's left is that almost all apps that are associated with google doesn't wor like google play, google services, ect.
Tell me your steps to flashing stock with Odin.
