Email: [email protected] / [email protected]
I have unplugged it at 11:33...100% after exctly one hour 85% ...and I only took a call and I talked about 3 min..that's it...before i would've had 95%...please help me.
could it be because of that 4.3 feature that keeps Wifi running all the time even when its off
you could try deactivating that

Same here. Battery drains way to fast now. Even did full wipe and restore and still happening.
Disable Wifi Scanning...
See what program it is causing your battery drain.
A week ago an update program: "Total Recall" made my GS4 battery drain fast and the phone was all day very warm. I uninstalled it and all get back to the normality. I talked with the developer of the program, he solved the problem and all works perfect.
I have now the 4.3 original update in my GS4 and battery works better than in the older 4.2.2. It works all the day without any charge.

Few days back my battery suddenly got drained that too when I was sleeping. It was something around 35% before sleeping and it was fully drained by the morning.
This thing happened again but that time I fortunately got awake and charged it till 60% and again in next 2 hrs (when I was sleeping) it lost 20% of battery. Will try 2 attach this incidence pics.
In 3rd incidence I charged my battery fully and suddenly my phone got heated up and got switched off. Even after pressing switching on button it didn't start than I removed the battery and reinserted it. And than it got switched on automatically (without pressing the switch on button), at that time my battery got drained by 15% without any use.
What might b the reason for it? Even my cousin is facing similar prob.
Plz help

Pic will tell u how fast it got drained when my use was minimum. usually I lost 5 to 7 % of battery when sleep
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
this happens when you flash the ROMS quite often without calibrating the battery. First wipe the batterystats and let the battery drain completely and follow the procedure mentioned below:
1. try to calibrate the battery by switching off phone and plug the charger in, till it completes 100%. Once it gives the signal of 100%, then immediately remove the battery and wait for 5 mins and then reinsert the battery and power on(Entropy Method)
Sorry my friend... after going through your pic, I found there is a ANDROID OS bug. Try to flash the new firmware from sammobile or from the XDA forum (Example PDA: KJ3 and modem XXKI4). This will resolve your problem!
What rom are you using? I had a similar issue using gingermod and the cook said the oc was to mutch for me so I deleted ocdaemon and two weeks later still no problems.

Can the overheating while charging caused by this?

We need to know what rom your using. What apps are always syncing. More details please. Also download BBS (betterbatterystats) and look for wakelocks that could be stopping the phone from entering deep sleep

frnds plz reply. After reading that I have OS bug m getting tensed. For information (i don't know whether it is useful) my phone is not rooted.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
^ No need to worry. The OS bug is something that does exist, although often people look at a screenshot and give a false positive diagnosis, based on a small sampling. We need to know how much cpu time your things have on that graph, so do another screenshot but take screen shots of the values of each line, for example we need to see your details for screen on time, android os, the top 3-4 items really.
Next thing, like somebody said, dl better battery stats. It's a good app made by a clever chap on these forums. Charge the phone up and do what you do. When the battery is starting to be close to finished, take a screenshot from within the app for "partial wakelocks" The list can be long so sometimes you will need a few shots, as you scroll down the list.
Rule of thumb. Battery killers should float to the top of that list. High time (min/sec) and high count are equal culprits. Example, one thing may wakelock your phone for 15 minutes, in a single event, another thing may wakelock you for a total of 3 minutes, but occurring in a thousand split second events. Imagine waking up every minute, for a second then sleeping again. If you were a battery doing this you would drain quickly too!
If your wakelocks are low and display time is low, your battery is either not calibrated (instructions a few posts up) maybe changing ROM and kernel could help, but now we are approaching the possibility that your battery might be defective and a warranty swap could be in order.
Thanks for the reply.
Here are few pics of top 5 items on that list.
Although der was sudden fall in battery but it was due 2 my use

From your screenshots, I could see that, google backup transport may be the reaason for battery drain. Go to settings->privacy-> disable the backup and restore and then see if it make any difference!
Thanks a lot.

can i upload the pics immediately from BBS app? i mean will it show the proper records? or should i wait till it get drained out?

That is outstanding. But how in the world is it possible that you have a "screen on" state without being awake?
I have been fighting battery issues for so long now, I'd really like to get to something as good as what you get...
i get 5 hours on heavy use until i hit 10 % well my setup is in my signature on light use i am sure i can stretch it to 6 hours with brightness on auto and wifi is on most of the time
battery life is never going to be better for me unless i uv. the previous setup, i used cm 10.1.2 stable with matr1x kernel. i uv and set the max cpu to 1350. it was really really good. i can use the phone from 8am to 9pm.
now currently using aosp 4.3, the default setup battery life has improved a bit compared to 4.2.2 stock, but after semaphore kernel installed and uv a bit, even with max cpu at default which is 1.5ghz, battery life has been really great.

I've terrible battery usage after 4.3 update. I never had any issues before but now I get 20 to 30 percent drop during the night when before it was under 10 in the same scenario.

Any help on sorting this out highly appreciated.
Battery life has increased a lot for me.
No heavy usage, I know. But still awesome compared to the stats I had when I bought my nexus 4

Just out of curiosity, are in you the US/North America?
I had the same issue of losing tons of battery to the OS overnight. I reflashed to an older version of the modem. Most of the people I have seen so far with these symptoms have been in France and India. Must be something about the cell services and how they interact with the phone.
@Calebz: I'm in Ireland.
I've restarted the phone since and the battery usage is back to normal, will see for how long.
Maybe you can look at this:

Hello there,
I have recently installed Slimbean 4.1 on my LG Optimus L7, everything is fine except for one thing: it doesn't go to deep sleep. It has used about 20% battery over approximately 12 hours during which I didn't use my device except to check the time and to see if I had messages, then I went to sleep. I had Better Battery Stats running to analyse my phone's behavior and I ended up with these results (screenshots at the end). Are those normal results from Slimbean (some ROMs do not have deep sleep features) or not? I think that 20% battery over 12 hours is a bit high since I wasn't using my device at all and had Wi-Fi turned off most of the time (and I didn't even use my alarm clock, which I use every nights usually).
Thank you for your time!

Nah the problem isn't solved yet, however, as stated by a user above, I also did use Greenify to put some apps to sleep, and I noticed that by default the Wi-fi stays on even when asleep, so turning that off did help. I still lose 10-20% overnight without recieving any calls or messages, which is, in my opinion, pretty bad. If I ever find something out before someone posts a fix here I will let you guys know!

I have a LG L7 P705 with SlimBean too and I have the same issue.
I wake up every morning at 6.30AM with a fully charged battery.
By 12PM, I am already down to 70-80% and I barely use my phone as I am at work.
The phone is mostly on silent/vibrations only, no wifi, no GPS, no bluetooth, Greenify installed and hibernating almost every apps besides my essentials (which are no battery drainers at all)
The battery stats show "Android OS" using 50-55% of battery and phone was on deep sleep for only 2min during all this time.
It is the same every day, I have tried many solutions and it still does it.
Any advice?
Thanks guys!

Seems I don't see any good threads about this and the firmware has already been out fkr days now. Anyone of us here who can share their battery experience? How do you find it compared to the 4.4.2? How about compared to JB, some say it's the best in battery life so far. Did you do clean flash or through PC companion? Share your thoughts guys

I had this update installed and I had about 1.3% battery drained per hour. Switched back to JB and got 0.5%/h. So for me JB is way better! But honestly even 0.5%/h is bad in my opinion! Should be around 0.3%/h for a phone with its native OS...

Would You mind sharing display settings Your performance is based on ? (Brightness, etc)
Also, any special config ?
Thanks a lot in advance.
I've noticed a great improvement in battery life with 4.4.4! Here's an example where with 4.4.2 after 6 hours of idling, the battery drained about 17%, but with 4.4.4 it only drained 4%!
