If you don't use the 4G make sure you have it unpicked. After upgrade some basic setting change as I have noticed

Check your baseband and look for the 4.3 firmware for your region in the sammobile.com website. Download it and flash through ODIN.

As long you keep your phone with the Official Sammy ROMs no issues with warrany or knox being fired.

[Q] I need you know, How do you can Down Android 4.3 to 4.1.2 I9500?

Help me!!! I need to Know, How do can i Downgrade from Android 4.3 to 4.1.2?
Why would you want to downgrade? The Galaxy S4 shipped with Android 4.2.2 so in terms of stock ROMs there's no way of getting 4.1.2 not sure about custom ones.

I'm pretty sure you can't downgrade to official 4.1.2 cause of knox bootloader. Besides I don't think S4 ever had 4.1.2 anyway.

[Q] [SGH-I337M] Upgrading to 4.4 without bootloader upgrade

Hi all!
My mother has a I337M Galaxy S4 from Telus. Purchased on October, 24th, 2013. This phone was manufactured before the July Knox upgrade. Contains 0% Knox and 4.2.2.
My question: Is there a way to upgrade to 4.4 without upgrading the bootloader. I have a SM-N900W8 myself and used the leaked Tecel version which worked fine (4.4.2). Does a similar process exist for the S4? She would prefer stock if possible.
Thanks

If you are on a non knox 4.2 just root and flash recovery for your model "M" shouldn't be that hard.
**Google is your friend use it

Download official firmware from Sammobile.com for 4.4.2 and flash it via odin.
Simple
But before downloading, check your model number properly.
Press Thanks if I helped

Hi, you can use towelroot so you won't lose your warranty. Just install the app and follow the instructions

Then you can root with cf auto root, but you will loose you warranty with this method.

But forget the part with triangle away, that doesn't work with Knox counter.

S4 I9505 is not in the list of supported devices (only I9500). Did anyone try it with I9505?
