[Q] Bought n9002 in China, Google play still won't work after rooting

Hi guys, so I bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 n9002 in China not long ago, and after returning to Australia recently I still cannot use Google play or any other Google system apps. The main problem I'm having is that I can't seem to log into my account in any Google apps, not even my chrome etc. It keeps saying there is an error connecting with Google servers.
I rooted my phone today by following steps from this very website, since I read that many people had the same problem as me, but after rooting their phone according following CA steps, they were then successful in installing all the Google Apps.
I guess I'm just confused as to why I can't seem to get my phone working when I did what others did.
Just wondering if anyone out there can maybe shed some light on what else I can do to get my Google services to work.

how about trying a different ROM?
and you were able to use it at China? and couldnt use in Australia???

Hm... maybe you're using China firmware and it is blocking Google? They don't like people being able to get unrestricted access to the world so I'd bet on them making sure Android doesn't allow it for China ROM's. You might have to work out how to flash open firmware, which could mean problems with PIT partitions so read up first.

Is the firmware you used a special edition which is blocking Google service?

Google Play Services 1gb of Background data today....

Hi Everyone,
Google Play Services has used 1.06 gb worth of background data today. I don't seem to be able to switch background data off for Google Play Services anywhere though....It's not in the list I have (exynos version) Anyone else had this happen to them and any idea for a fix? Never had this issue before in 7 years of android. Great phone otherwise

google play on samsung s7 edge from china problem

hi iv tried all possible ways to dowload google play on my samsung s7 edge but i couldnt, i just bought it today in beijing
ive had alot of androids before they all had google play np.
i use to just download google play store & services and services platform.
but this didnt work on my new samsung s7 edge.
is there any way to have it?
or is it impossible.

Hi, i have a zefone3 china variant Z012DE which lacks google apps package. Is there a way to get gapps installed ? Thanks.

Android phones sold in the Mainland of China has no Google Apps by default as Google is blocked there. You may search for something like "Google services installer" to install Google services back. Hope this could help you.

Google installer gives error google play services not compatible with this device, it gives constant pop force close. Is there anyone who could add Google Play to Zenfone 3 China Z012DE with or without root ?
