[Q] 64gb variants availability and usage - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I've been holding out for signs of a 64gb variant, apart from a few scammy looking ads, i havent seen anyone talking about release date or stock availability.
Specifically im looking for a n9005 lte 64gb variant that i can use in australia, has anyone found a legitimate source for a 64gb variant of the note 3?
Even better would be a resource i can follow that can let me inform myself of availability.
If you want to refer me to a shop, please use pm's so this doesnt become a spam thread.
If you have a 64gb variant, how do you find it? the extra space worth it?
Thanks

I may be wrong but I am under the impression that the LTE versions of the note 3 only come with 32 gigs

To my knowledge, while they were listed as available, no shop ever sells the 64GB versions of any phone. Mainly because they earn more on the 32GB version.

More vaporware. It's not as much of an issue as it was with ice cream sandwich because for a couple of versions they never let you copy any apps to the SD card, but now they do in 4.3

Samsung Galaxy S & S2 cross 30 Million Sales

The success of Galaxy S phone from Samsung Electronics made it as a very important player in smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy S laid the perfect platform for its successor models, well utilized by Galaxy S II to set up records after records. The Galaxy S II phone has surpassed a new milestone and Samsung reports that they until now has sold more than 30 million units of Samsung Galaxy S and S II phones cumulatively.
The Galaxy S II reported 10 million handset sales since its launch and Galaxy S alone has reported 20 million handsets sales. Thanks to Samsung Galaxy S phone that Galaxy S II became the fastest selling smartphone in the history of Samsung which achieved the feat of 10 million handsets sale just in 5 months. The future of Galaxy S series looks better and there is no reason that Samsung will discontinue it Galaxy S series and the internet is searched with Samsung Galaxy S3 phone.
Samsung is celebrating this milestone and we have posted comparison of Samsung Galaxy SII vs iPhone 4S its major competitor. We have posted lot many custom firmware and stock firmware update instructions for Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy S II phone.

Samsung Galaxy S III to hit retail shelves in India on June 8, priced at Rs 39,990

Samsung will be hosting a press conference in New Delhi on May 31 to launch the Galaxy S III in India but the smartphone is likely to be available a week later. Multiple sources have told BGR India that the Galaxy S III will be available on store shelves around June 8. Even online retailers are expecting units to be available for shipping from June 8 onwards.
We are also hearing that the Galaxy S III will be priced at Rs 39,990. This is likely to be the MRP and not the street price. However, considering the high profile nature of the Galaxy S III, we cannot confirm whether the phone will retail at Rs 39,990 for the first few weeks or will it, like all other phones, have a different market operating price as soon as it is launched. At the moment, Samsung is taking pre-bookings for the Galaxy S III and is offering a free Bluetooth headset for those who commit Rs 2,000 to reserve their unit.
The Galaxy S III will compete with the HTC One X, which was launched in India for Rs 37,899 and is now retailing at about Rs 36,000. Samsung might just put a premium on the Galaxy S III, considering the success of the Galaxy S II and the Galaxy Note as well as its marketing muscle, which would easily overshadow what HTC has done so far for the One X. Ideally, HTC could gain some additional sales were it to slash the price of the One X but that is unlikely to happen.

Nice June 8 isn't too far from now. I'm excited for Indian users as a lot of them are into samsung devices and also great developers like Gadgetcheck.

Confirmed Galaxy Note 2 to hit 5 US Carriers by Mid-November

Reported at Android Central and many other places this morning.
Looks like Engadget has reported this too, but they have the Sprint Press Release concerning the Galaxy Note II in addition to the Samsung PR.
Can't provide a link yet because I have too few posts.

Guessing this is just a placeholder link for now as it currently takes you to BAW - www.sprint.com/galaxynote2
I've bookmarked the Note II forums. Finally something worthy to replace my Sensation on TmoUSA.

We can do the work for you.
Here's another directly from Samsung US's Galaxy Note II page.
"Galaxy Note II marks the U.S. debut of Samsung’s Exynos™ 1.6 GHz quad-core processor optimized for LTE networks. It has 2GB of internal RAM; and comes with 16GB of onboard file storage and supports up to 64GB of additional memory with a microSD® card."

US Cellular has this priced at $299.00 and to ship by the end of October.

64GB 3G Samsung Gaaxy Note 10.1

Found this on Ebay Australia - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-...51181232414?pt=US_Tablets&hash=item3a7b91711e
I want one....
Though reading through the specs they seem a little bit wrong, what do you think?
Either its just been launched or the add is fake for couple of reasons US does not have a 3G version and second its list OS as 4.1 which is JB which is not out yet so do not think this is a gen add
Alot of the specs are wrong. It smells fishy, for example it lists ram as 1GB but my note has 2.

Lots wrong. Camera, memory, comes with case? All seems odd. But the oddest part, why the work PHOTOSHOP in the description? Are you just buying a picture?
I also chked ebay. Sellers seems to be taking buyers for a ride. I found a 32gb Note 10.1 with WiFI +3G. But fine print revealed that it is a 16GB Note with 16GB Micro SD Card. There is no 32/64Gb Note with wifi+3G in US Mkt.
Yeah I've seen that... But it is the genuine Oz ebay, but saying that ebay can be host to some dodgy sellers too....
Maybe there's a different model in Korea....
I do have a 32GB 3G note 10.1 however, but only found it from 1 seller here in Oz - JB Hifi...
And it comes with two batteries..... This cannot be real.

There never will be any 3G Note in the U.S. market as Samsung doesn't sell unlocked devices here. Any 3G Note sold in the U.S. was imported from somewhere else. A Note passed through the FCC with AT&T's LTE bands but that's been it so far. And I'm sure the calling and messaging features will be disabled because, well, it's AT&T.

Availability of the LTE version

Anybody knows when the International LTE version of the Note PRO 12.2 and Note 8.4" will be available? Thanks.

Someone in the forum mentioned it will be released Feb 24th with a price of 899$ for 32gb 4G LTE model.
What i found in some online searches that the first one to get LTE is Verizon and it will be available in March .
Thanks. I want to buy a standalone international LTE version from an electronic store and not tie to any phone contract.

Release Date: February, 2014
Anybody knows why Samsung is holding the international sim lock free LTE version of the Note PRO 12.2" and Tab Pro/Note PRO 8.4"? Is it due to marketing strategy or they need approval from some agencies?
Samsung Malaysia confirm - NOTE PRO LTE version release in march- price RM2,999

Thanks for the link. That keybaord-case weights about 500g. Together with the Note PRO, the total weight is in the laptop range.

the difference between a laptop and the note pro with its accessories is that you just can leave the keyboard and mouse whenever you want and enjoy the main tablet experience and the laptop can't do that even how portable or light it is , but all comes to your needs , if you want a real work machine then go get a laptop but if you want a tablet that can do work tasks on the go like editing documents and drawing or art or any kind of non heavy tasks then go get the note pro as its really near perfect. if you are on a budget and not so convinced for paying extra money for the pro then the 10.1 2014 is cool too . and maybe you should think about that the note 3 retail price now is 700$ and the note PRO is just 50$ extra but for me its the pro all way . good luck with your choice
RM 2999 = 906US. dollars
906$ that's for the LTE version .right?

I'm also looking for the international version (Galaxy Note Pro P905). I live in the USA, but don't want the verizon version because, you have to pay for service, even if you opt to buy the device for full price. Also I don't want to have to deal with a device that has a locked bootloader and will probably never get a software update.
My biggest draw to the LTE version is the Qualcomm processor. Exynos sucks and lags and yes, I've spent some time with the Exynos (WiFi) version. It's smoother than the Note 10.1 2014 edition, but you still notice a little lag here and there.
Hey I Google this but have no idea if legit and what not

Am I right that regardless of the RAM size, there are three models: LTE International, wifi and 3G?
