Is there any way to do this? ADW or any different launcher with provides app drawer. It's the only thing I don't like in MIUI launcher. But I want some widgets like clock, music, photo frame etc.
So please post any solutions
its a good launcher i like it but some reasons i dont use it.
for ex some widgets do not work properly. they look not like on apex or nova launcher.
and not all the widgets can be resized.
can it be modified as such?
Using Nova/Apex very few widgets appear. There's no calendar or weather widget, for example. It seems any LG skinned app doesn't have a widget option unless you're using the stock launcher.
Anyone else getting this?

It's the same thing for everyone. With Nova/Apex you can't have the stock widgets, it's the same thing for Touchwiz, Sense, etc... overlay. With another launcher than stock you can't have the stock widgets like weather widgets, etc... (exept for some Touchwiz widgets but it's another story).

Thanks, so, is there any way to get them to work? I really like widgets like calendar and notes!
I'm new to Samsung just come fresh from a Moto G and Nexus 4.
I was wondering if somebody can help me, I love use Nova Launcher prefer it over any launcher, but on my new S5 it doesn't seem to show me widgets for my apps, eg sky news or my calendar any other third party app that has widgets.
I carnt seem to work this out on my its not working my new shiny phone.
please help.

So my question is a little different than the basic one I've seen answered here ("can you use stock widgets on 3rd party launcher")
What I want to know is... if I uninstall them as system apps then reinstall the apk as a regular app will the widget show up on Nova Launcher? Really missing the LG Health widget and LG Weather widget.

I really doubt it, those widgets are hard coded to the stock launcher if I am not mistaken.
