[Q] Problem with my I9500GT - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys
I have a problem with my s4 i9500 bought in dubai. I bough a simlock free cellular and after updating it to android 4.3 i couldn't register to my carrier anymore. I tried to downgrade to 4.2.2 and register and it didn't worked anymore, I also tried to install a custom room but it didn't worked too.
Any tips how can i repair it ?
Sim card works on my iphone 4 perfectly, so it can't be it.
P.S English is not my main language so please don't be cruell.

Hi,
There are hardware differences, and installing that ROM to your device will permanantly brick your phone. There are methods that can be used to port ROMS but this even results in issues.

I have an i9502 and have successfully flashed a stock i9500 ROM on it. Stating the obvious though, you LOSE functionality on the 2nd SIM slot. Other than that, the device works perfectly fine.
The only reason I bought the i9502 was because it was the only one available with 32GB internal. The 32GB was more important to me than the 2nd SIM
FYI, I used ODIN to flash the ROM.

:good:
This is something very useful information. As so far on all forums on web, people are saying that it is not possible and it will brick the phone.
now you came up with some thing new that the only loss is that of 2nd sim functionality.
Thanks for sharing your experience.

No problem. Yup, I searched through all the forums as well and all said the same thing (it will brick your phone). I took a chance anyway because the hardware is almost identical and thought it would be worth trying.
Got lucky I can confirm that i9500 ROM does work on i9502 (again, keep in mind you will lose 2nd SIM)

Its a relief to know this so thanks a lot for subjecting your I9502 to a guinea-pig test. The anxious wait is for a modified Rom for the I9502 with both SIMs functioning. That would make me smile forever and ever!

Hi Jerry,
Yes, if you flash back the stock i9502 rom or a variant of the i9502 stock rom, you should get back dual sim functionality without any problems.

So far no one responded. I got a little bit busy in the last two weeks. I would be searching in Chinese forums for the same.
You can use online google translator to translate.

Hello everybody I' ve tried to install i9500 rom on my i9502 via twrp, the installatione went fine it boot and restored my google account and apps BUT my mobile network doesn' t want to connect, the phone ask me for the pin but i can' t make calls. So I was wondering if installing the modem i9502 could solve my problem

You can use only one sim with i9500 rom.
I try a few ROM i9500, but no one have a drivers for dual sim
I' ve managed to have the dual sim functionality, but i don' t know how I' ve done multiples attemps adding the modem files and suddenly it work, i' ve the two sim working but on the other hand i' ve got big instability of the whole rom with random reboot and fc, the rom was aurora rom. Unfortunately I'm no longer able to repeat the procedure just one question when i flash i9500 rom the sim that works is the one on the left of the flash?
Yes, or first slot (3G slot)

[Q] Need stock c4 firmware note 3 n900v

I am absolutely new to this, I have a huge problem. I got my Verizon Note 3 n900v from the US today, and i live in Bangladesh. Now the problem is after i put my sim card in, everything works fine except that it keeps showing the phone activation warning. (unrecognised sim)
Also whenever i try to press the software update, it says service not available :S
So what i want to do is flash the stock firmware and see if the problem goes away or not.
Please help me by giving me the solution to this problem..

[Q] Is it possible to install i9505's lollipop firmware on my AT&T i337

Hay there, guys,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4, which is AT&T branded called i337 which is running 4.4.4 (i337UCUFNJ4)
I have bought it in a used mobile shop here in Pakistan and have tried it with many prepaid SIMs like ufone, Jazz, Zong and Telenor
All SIMs are working fine and don't ask for any SIM authorisation or something like my Verizon i545 used to ask for and gave my SIM
verification error all the time and a Question ? mark was always on the top of my screen.
So what i want now is to install Lollipop on my device as every ROM enthusiast may want.
I know the lollipop has not been made available for my device till now but i have read here;
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-att/general/install-i9505-tw-5-0-i337m-t3056176
and i know that i9505 and i337 are very very same in the hardware build so i think it is right to say that we can install i9505's firmware on it.
SO if any guru/dev having been working on it can please show me a way.
