Does anybody know if it's possible for a mod/hack to be created that would allow for audio to stream over micro-usb/usb? Similar to iPhone..
Right now connecting the phone to car stereo via USB only reads stored audio, but can't play tune-in radio for example over the usb.

I have a car stereo where it has a usb cable connection, I used to connect all my phones using the usb cable to the car stereo to play music ( xperia play and iphone). But Gnote does not connect to the car stereo usb and can't find the music folder, anyone can please help in this
Working on an in-car mount. Has anyone found any way to run the digital audio out from the N7 via USB into a receiver's USB port? The receiver has a DAC built-in, it seems like this would be the ideal audio solution. Straight digital over USB into the receiver. Clean, simple, easy... but I haven't found anyone that has gotten this to work.
It appears to me the only thing you can use the USB port on a receiver for is putting the N7 into USB storage mode which allows the stereo to read any stored music files on your device. But this doesn't allow for Pandora, TuneIn Radio, Netflix, etc. It allows puts music control in the receivers hands, and I want the N7 to be the controller. I really just want the receiver USB port to function as an AUX audio input.
I do have Timur's kernel and CM10.1 ROM running and have successfully gotten my external DAC working with OTG and charging.... so that's the route I plan to go, but I could remove the external DAC and simplify things a little if I could just go all digital over USB directly into the receiver.

Hi want to send the audio of streaming apps as spotify and google music to the usb output to use them with the Fiio Q1 DAC/AMP as I used to do it with the nexus 5x, but I haven't being successful at setting this up. The most I have accomplish is playing local files to usb using HiByMusic app and the OTG cable.
If anyone know how to do it or have found an app for it, please share, thanks!

I would like to connect an external DSP via the HDMI output and I want that any audio source from the HDMI go into the DSP.
So in your opinion, from the HDMI output on my Dasaita MAX 6 comes out any form of audio? For example, do you think that an Mp3 audio track (from USB stick) comes out from the HDMI output?

I recently bought a usb type c headphone to use with a Galaxy tab s6 lite. Headphone works perfectly when playing media (through media channel-like music player, youtube, and spotify), but when answering a call or attending a zoom meeting, I get the audio via in built speaker, not via plugged in usb c headphones. I have enabled usb audio routing in developer options, but the problem is persisting.
What could be the reason for it? How do I overcome this? TIA
