Hey, i am not receiving whatsapp mesages while my screen locked (1 tick). When i open screen, suddenly all messages come (2 tick). Is anyone having similiar problem / know solution? Thanks.

I just wondered if anyone new how to stop text messages appearing in a bubble window at the top of the screen when they arrive?
I need to do this as I'll be doing software demo's from the XDA ii and it would be very embarassing to have a txt message from my Girlfriend or a Mate arrive on the screen. I've thought about turning off the wireless so the phone doesn't work but the software I demo requires a live GPRS connection.
I get some strange txt messages and its only a matter of time before one arrives in a demo.
Start / Settings / Sounds & Notifications / Notifications tab / Select Inbox: New SMS message or E-mail message / uncheck what you do not need / OK to save
Hey long time flasher first time questioner! I just put a new rom on my 8525 and it shows that there are 2 unread sms messages on the htc home screen but i go into the sms messages and there are none.
Has anyone else seen this problem?
I havent had this problem have you checked your outbox, drafts etc ?
Hi there, this has only just started happening... when I receive an sms my inbox/email account screen also starts up... I have not changed any settings recently so I am not sure why it happens... does anyone know how to stop the email/inbox message screen from appearing everytime I receive a text?
My s2 always suffer a 1-2 second wait when I try to open the unread SMS by trying to slide the message on the lockscreen...
If I do it per normal way, unlock device first, then go SMS app, then no delay.
Anyone face same issue? How to fix this?

My streak has suddenly stopped receiving txts. with the stock sms app i got the on screen message saying new sms received but there was nothing there. when i open an old sms and go back, it just refreshes with no messages at all, i downloaded gosmspro and it doesnt even notify me of new sms messages.
has anybody came across this before??
