I bought online the unlock code for my friends AT&T Galaxy Note 3. But there is a problem. I cant seem to find the Network mode selection menu so i can force it to use GSM mode only here in the philippines. Any tips guys? Thanks

AT&T hides it from all of their phones except iPhones. You would have to flash a different ROM onto the device.
On my note 3 it's also showing the same thing. no network mode option. In fact, it can only connect to 4G so far after I manually add the AT&T Phone APN. Mine's flashed with UrDroid 4.4.2 rom. rooted.

I just successfully flashed the modem/rom/etc on my new S4 for ATT. I have service with H+ on ATT but I am unable to get LTE, GPS, or MMS messages. Does anyone know if there is a way to get these functions working yet on this phone?
4.4.2 Firmware.
Sounds like the apns are messed up. Maybe search for what they should be and verify against what is set on your device.

I have verified the APN is correct per another ATT S4 stock and my old S3 LTE APN, still no LTE. let me remind you that this is a n unlocked SPRINT phone with GSM enabled as primary connection..

Make sure the network mode is set to LTE/WCDMA/GSM or something with LTE if you have other options. Also, i'm not entirely sure the Sprint model has the same LTE bands enabled.
My buddy just gave me his T-Mobile Note 3 so I started using it. I was using the S4 before and I was always getting LTE no matter where I was. Now that I am using the note 3, I keep getting the edge network everytime, and sometimes I will get 4g but that is at very rare places. Is there a setting to change the band on the phone to make it work on att?

With the same SIM card? Or with another SIM card/another mobile network?
Anyway, you can try to change the band with this menu: *#2263# (*#BAND#)
You can find other Samsung secret codes with the 'Secret Code Explorer' menu (in the Shortcut Master app).

I tried numerous sim cards. Anyways I did the band thing and changed it to all. seems I get the 4g now, but it eventually goes back to edge, so the only fix is to restart the phone to get it back to 4g. any fix to this?

1- Did you try these sim cards with another phones?
2- Try to manually select LTE instead of Auto?
Has anyone found a safe way to get t-mobile service working on VZW note 3. When i insert my sim card it just says unknown simcard. Thanks for any help and or tips
It's probably a bad sim card it worked perfectly for me in the same situation.

Did you have to flash a rom or unlock the bootloader or anything of that nature?
Just pop a t mobile sim in an it works for me root it and in able hidden menu and turn on band 4 and you will get LTE on t mobile there are a few videos on YouTube that will get you going.

If you are on 4.4.4 band 4 is already enabled. Make sure you put phone in gsm /lte/umts. Mode. Turn off mobile data, reboot phone and turn data back on. You should see 4g lte Icon by signal bars
So is this just for internet? I finally got the h+ to show up but i don't have any voice connection. Will this phone also work with voice as well?

Under Settings, Networks, Mobile Network set it to GSM/UMTS
And of course...put in your carrier's SIM

Do a factory refresh then try it. You will lose all user data...so backup first if needed.

I factory reset and follows me out the same mistake, Greetings
I previously owned an att variant S7 edge. It was used on Straight Talk towers. It broke and I was forced to buy a new one because of no insurance. I went on and bought the International version on Amazon SM G935f.
I notice that there is no "Mobile Networks" option on the phone whatsoever. Without that option, I can't set my apn settings. The Sim card doesn't seem to work either. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Has anyone else experienced this. Please help!
In the essence of the simplest solution is usually the right one... are you sure Flight Mode is not enabled as this occurs when it is?!

I live in US and bought an international version also. It would not show mobile network until I inserted the sim card. Iam also on straight talk using att towers. so do u insert sim and recheck your setting and see if it appears?
