Would like to know the format that I can use to pay with home tab music player?
Where should I save the mp3 file in order for the music file to be available for selection? Currently I can play it by using media player and locate the file to open.
I normally put mp3's on \Storage card\Music.
Default music player and S2P both normally play such files...
Does anyone know how to sync Winamp or iTunes playlists directly into to stock player?
My music collection is highly organized so I need my playlists and I like being able to navigate my music from the lockscreen.
I've seen a couple suggestions like doubletwist or itunes agent to get my music onto my Aria but I have yet to find a way to get my playlists straight into the native music player.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
i don't know if the default music player has syncing capabilities.
i would check out doubletwist player. i know that program can sync with itunes pretty well.
edit:
why are you wanting to use just the stock music player? doubletwist is a free download and a much more full-featured app. i would highly recommend it.
I have this problem. I installed the 2.1 music player cause I didn't know vibrant's got its own music player. The player I installed have the playlists I synced from pc. The player that comes with the vibrant wont display the playlists. Where does the vibrant's music player store its playlists so I can move my playlists from the root of my phone.

Not sure if its due to your new player or not. I had issues seeing playlists with only the stock player installed. Other music players I have installed since have seen the playlists in all the directories just fine. Maybe the vibrant player doesn't handle the standard playlists. (m3u)
Samsung Vibrant uses a different music player than other 2.1 roms. The one I installed is the one most android phones come with, which display the playlists I put on the phone/memory card. The one that coems with the Vibrant cannot read playlists. One problem with me is when I press the button on the headphones that were provided to skip a song, the vibrant music player would open itself. Therefore I would have 2 music players opened and 2 songs playing.
Has anyone with root removed the Vibrant music player successfully? Or is it too ingrained in the OS?
The built in music player is brick. Cannot display any playlists I synced with windows media player. I installed Music app(music player from 2.1 and other android phones). This old music player will display my playlists if I drag the playlists from my music folder onto the phone after syncing my playlists from windows media player.
The problem is, when I use the button on the Vibrant's headphones to skip to the next song, the default music player opens and starts playing, therefore 2 music players are playing.
