Ok so I purchased this on the Amazon store (before the root, I have a couple characters in their teens) and now the Android Market and I can't play the game. Can anyone help me to get this to work on my ICS Kindle Fire please?
Model number: Amazon Kindle Fire
Android version: 4.0.4
Kernel version: 3.0.21+
[email protected] #23

Build number: IMM76D
Mod version: aokp_otter_build-M5
Thanks for anyone who can help. I love this game and want to play it.
I think you need to edit your build prop. There is a thread dedicated to this I believe.

Do you have a link? I did a search to no avail.
I hear rumors that gl is implementing some kind of device check. Any supported ROOTED device wont play. Even if your device is supported. I don't know if or how this can be true. Just hearsay.

It's in the development section. I think build prop is in the title. Sorry I can't check right now.

yup i kno that too but on ur suggested thread i got a link THIS indicating STOCK ROMs......these are stcok or NOT.....if not then which is...n if there is no stock ROM then for rooting which ROM should I use....
I think you have a misconception. The thread link I gave I think referred to the sbf stock ROM with boot loader version 7
For rooting you have to flash the two sbfs(stock roms) as I referred to earlier.

I updated my pa 3.69 to 3.94 without factory reset and rooting it again. Should it be a problem if I didn't install the new radio and bootloader because I tried to install it and it failed.

it shouldn't be a problem, i updated two days ago, but didn't have any problem before that.

OK man, I' ll add that option on v1.1. Thanks for the suggestion .
Can this also remove the "Tampered" message from my unlocked but not S-off HTC One?
so basically, just delete the message in HBoot screen?

It should also do that.
Thanks for this, I'm s-off and bootloader already unlocked so just need to get rid of the text, so is this to be flashed or how does it work?

How it works ?
For bootloader unlock, it deletes encrypted bootloader flag from the mmcblk0p3 file. Then, it uses ADB to enter "HTCU" command to unlock bootloader normally. That means it may work on other HTC devices but it is not tested on other HTC devices.
For deleting the TAMPERED text, it changes counter flag to x00. Usally when you unlock bootloader or flash anything with Fastboot, counter flag changes itself to x01 and so on.
And note that you need S-OFF for deleting TAMPERED text option.

And one more thing: in this way, we can reset knox ( for samsung devices) flash counter with this way.
OK thanks do I need a PC for this or can this be done on phone itself?

After clicking the Unlock booterloader button and then the ok button, I see a command prompt with [email protected]:/ $ but nothing else happens. Should I be doing something?
Really useful. Could you also get it to add root, and maybe add a relock option also? I wish this was about before I used htcdev.
is it that simple?is it safe?
suggestion
try to insert option to change cid in supercid
or of any other choice and name after s-off tools all in one

No evidence either way.
For me it's a bit sparse on detail, prerequisites etc.

I've just downloaded this guys and got this through Norton: WS.Reputation is a risk and has been removed. False positive or something more sinister??
Updated:
February 15, 2012 3:15:47 PM
Type:
Other
Risk Impact:
High
Systems Affected:
Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows NT, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000
Behavior
WS.Reputation.1 is a detection for files that have a low reputation score based on analyzing data from Symantec’s community of users and therefore are likely to be security risks. Detections of this type are based on Symantec’s reputation-based security technology. Because this detection is based on a reputation score, it does not represent a specific class of threat like adware or spyware, but instead applies to all threat categories.
The reputation-based system uses "the wisdom of crowds" (Symantec’s tens of millions of end users) connected to cloud-based intelligence to compute a reputation score for an application, and in the process identify malicious software in an entirely new way beyond traditional signatures and behavior-based detection techniques.

One simple answer to the reason why 183.46.15 is not rootable: No more futex exploit. Sorry. Maybe later (I wouldn't hold my breath because Android Kit Kat is one difficult customer).
