Its happen many times for me.

im running PA too, but it happen to me on every rom.
is it happen to you with high frequency?

This does happen to me, although very rarely. I have came the conclusion that it only happens when I have the TouchControls modules enabled with ParanoidAndroid rom.

Touch Screen unresponsive?

I am using a deodexed 4.2.1 and official cm10.1. I've had it happen three times where the touch screen becomes 100% unresponsive. It always happens on the lock screen and requires a reboot. Anyone else had this issue? Could it be software issues? In the mean time I am back to stock back up.

I'm running rooted stock 4.2.1 and I've had a couple times when the lock screen didn't work. Screen off and on worked. (I would however miss the call obviously) It's rare, but I've had it happen on my Nexus 4, Galaxy S2, Motorola Defy XT, HTC Evo 4G, and my original Motorola Droid 1 slider.
I think it's a glitch and it can happen.
hey i'm on liquidsmooth but it also happened on cm10.1, try Minco V.6 and report if it happens again..
btw all on franco kernel( r23 & r28)
ps: it happens to me on nearly every bootup and needs about 1minute do get responsive..

Still Constantly rebooting....

I've been having random reboots ever since.....well, a long time ago. No matter what ROM, kernel, or android version, it still persists. It happens at least 5 times a day. Sometimes 10. It even does it when I have zero downloaded apps.
Now that I'm done complaining, I'd like some help solving this formidable problem. Has anyone experienced the same thing? What can I do to stop it? Etc.
This is with an 8gb WiFi.
Thanks

After a reboot, you can know what cause this reboot with "last_kmsg" log. Look here for how to get it : https://code.google.com/p/tegraowners-ics-rom/wiki/How_to_get_logs
OK I did that. I scrolled through the unending file and at the bottom it said, "no errors found". Does this mean it doesn't know what caused the reboot, or did I miss something?

My nexus 7 rebooted while typing out this reply....so frustrating that this just happens out of nowhere. At least five times a day for me too.
Can't be the rom...I've been on pa 3.0 for a while and it was stable before. I don't think it's the kernel because I've flashed the top 3 kernels and it fixes nothing.
I am thinking it's a rogue app because my nexus is also draining battery very quickly and something is causing non stop wake locks and keeping my device from sleeping. Now I have to hunt down this app out of my 100+ apps
Android can be very frustrating at times

Revert to pure stock and if the problem persists assume that you have a hardware defect. Hardware defects are not curable with software - they are cured by replacement of the hardware. ( BTW, If you ran your device for significant lengths of time at extreme OC levels, you might have caused the damage; but that is for you to decide)
Mine has rebooted once in three months - but I could reproduce the crash ( using Chrome Beta on a specific WebGL demo ). That is very different than a spontaneous crash though, so I guess I could say it has *never* happened to me - and I have used the tab extensively every day for those three months.

[Q]Issues with waking up

After locking my phone, and charging it for the night, when I try to wake it up I have to turn the whole thing off.

After reading your heading and the first half of your post, I couldn't resist posting the obvious bad joke: Set an alarm clock!
Seriously though, what rom are you using? Have you tried stock rom? I seem to remember other people having this problem with charging overnight, and if you search I'm pretty sure someone found a fix, but I can't remember where I read it...
I'm on sabermod with ak faux 033, stock Roms work and I believe cm works too.

I actually have this issue.
I had it on my first nexus (first batch shipped) and the same issue on my new one (303k)
Stock rom too..

[Q] Lock-unlock issue

I am currently on PA 3.68 and since quite some time I am having some problems with my lockscreen:
1. Many times the power button is not responsive... I doubt it might be a hardware problem since this started only a few days ago
2. Many times the lockscreen doesn't even show up, the screen which I was on previously shows up and this is problematic for me as I use a patter to unlock...
Please help !!
If you didn't, try a clean flash. I'm running 3.68 and have none of those issues.

I did try the XenonHD ROM... Still same issues :/
If its following you across Roms I'm not really sure what it could be. Try bumping up your locked/sleeping/low CPU speed.

I think I have a similar problem. I had to press the Power button very hard to respond. This is happening from last few weeks. I use swipe2wake and swipe2lock. So not a huge issue. But it still worries me. I am using DU rom. Not sure if it is a button issue or ROM.

Nexus 10 wont lit screen after some hours of inactivity.

Hi,
I've googled about this problem for a long time but haven't found anyone with the same problem as me.
When i leave my Nexus 10 unused for a some hours it don't lit the screen when i open the case or when pressing the power button.
The notification light often blinks because of a email or instant message recived so i know it's still on.
Anyone knows what couse this?
I've experienced this both with 4.2.2 and 4.3.

Is it a stock ROM or custom? I've had the same problem on a few customs ROMs

It's full stock ROM, no root or anything.
Sounds a lot like the SoD, or Sleep of Death. If you search that you will find tons of info.
I have been suffering bad SoD since upgrading to 4.3
Like 2 - 3 times daily.

Same here. I've had two SoDs and one reboot after sitting idle for 8 hours in the past day.
