Hey there guys, anyone able to download any apps from samsung apps? (I can browse the apps but not download)
or open link or hub?
Im getting nothing but just a spinning loading icon.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling samsung apps.
clearing all samsung app caches, system cache.
temp unroot
removing and re-adding samsung account,. (it fails to sync internet here too)
creating a NEW samsung id.
multiple reboots in between.
All vzw-samsung bloatware is installed and defrosted, no system files removed or altered.
uninstalled xposed-wanam-multiwindow manager,.. etc still no good.
any ideas ?
thanks!

Hello all,
I just installed Titanium Backup because I wanted to get rid of a few bloat applications.
I removed all that I wanted which were listed on a few "safe to remove" threads, mainly some Google applications, and Samsung applications.
Now I'm getting a pop up saying "Unfortunately, Package Access Helper has stopped."
As far as I know, I didn't uninstall anything important, just some bloatware apps.
I have tried clearing the cache for it, rebooting to recovery and deleting cache there, along with dalvik cache, to no avail.
Does it matter what version of 4.4 I have, can I reinstall any version of it and should that fix it?
I can still install and uninstall apps, but the popup is just annoying.
If I can just reinstall, could anyone provide a "working" version?
Thanks,
Chris.
Hey, Everyone
My friend has an LG G2 and he is having problem with it.
He says that in his handset apps installs automatically.
He tried factory reset but it did not helped.
I gave him tips on restricting his google use , so he changed his google password.(Which is of course useless )
And problem still persists.
Any help?
[P.S. apps were mostly games. ]

Its most likely an app he has installed or he has been visiting some sites he should not be.
1. Factory Restore the phone...
2. While setting up the phone uncheck the auto restore option... Google automatically installs the apps you have previously installed... Just uncheck the box restore and auto backup if you want (Sync will still work if not sync manually)

Hey, are you experiencing any issues after removing Google apps? Are you on stock? I'm on stock and whenever I remove anything system it breaks other apps...

You should be able to remove all apart from Google play services, framework.
For some reason it doesn't work for me. For example, if I remove Chrome, Facebook messenger breaks, relay for reddit won't start. This is really strange?
I'm using ES file Explorer to remove apps. Titanium says it has deleted but apps are still there after restart.
Any ideas? @callumbr1
Thanks

Hmmm strange. You should just be able to remove chrome as normal and just remove apk.
I would suggest remove the apps you don't want. Then boot to recovery and wipe cache. Then reboot. This should fix and apps breaking/crashing.
Im rooted and using costum rom i did uninstall all google apps even google framework because i had errors with google apps and i did reinstall gapps but i still get ssl network errors...

Right, I finally figured out what the issue was - it was the webviewer implementation, so when removed system chrome, had to defrost android webview and select it to handle webviews. Problem was gone since!
As the title says my Facebook app crashes whenever I try to upload an image/video on OnePlus 5, how do I fix it?
I have tried the following options:
Updating the app to the latest version.
Force stop > Cleared cache and memory from app settings
Uninstalled the app and reinstalled fresh version from app store
Reset my phone to factory settings
Installed the latest OTA updates provided by OnePlus
I don't know what else to do now, please help.. Is there any body else facing the same problem?
Go into settings / applications and clear all data from the Facebook App. Uninstalling and reinstalling wouldn't necessarily fix the problem because data from the earlier install would be restored. If that doesn't work I would ask if you are running 100% stock or something modded.

Thanx for the reply.. I have tried clearing all data and Cache from app settings but no luck. Yes, I am running 100% stock OS as provided by OnePlus. Any other suggestions..?
Have you tried to upload in chrome browser?

Yes it is working fine with chrome browser.. The problem occurs only via facebook app.
I did a hard reset on my device, reconfigured everything, installed the Facebook app fresh.. still the same problem.. Does anyone has its solution?
And if not would doing a reset of just the settings probably fix it?
Also tried things like clearing cache partition, I didn't really want to do a whole wipe if possible but clearing cache hasn't worked.
It's doing it daily, sometimes a couple of times per day in different apps.
Are there any event logs that would tell me what happened at the point of the restarts?
If I did a while wipe would my settings and apps be restored after? I can't remember about settings but I know it tries to get back your apps but from previous experience you end up with a load you didn't want any more and a load it missed for some reason.
What does anyone think is best?
Thanks
James
A factory data reset might fix it. I would take it to a local repair shop and see what they say. It might be a hardware malfunction in which if so, claim warranty.
I had a problem once with constant restarts, i finally found the problem. I was removing bloatware with ADB and the apps called ANT i removed. They sere somehow linked to the security folder. Once i reinstalled those apps everything was fine.
Also in Device Care you can check if there's an jssue with any apps. (Which May Or May Not Be Related)
my s10 constantly restarts

Hi
How do I use ADB to remove apps? how can I find out which app is the culprit?
I dont want to factory reset my phone, as I will lose a lot of data, I cant back it up, since it restarts as I start backing app, no matter which app I use
Thanks!

To get a list of apps
adb shell pm list packages
To uninstall a package
adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 (package name)
Reinstall
adb shell cmd package install-existing (package name)
What is causing is difficult but if you have removed ant services for example, then afterwards setup secure folder access this will cause a loop reboot.
Try remembering if you have recently removed anything.
