There is an app called "Screen off and lock" in the market. You have to make it an icon. Locking your phone with the power button won't see the animation

It's a great app!
It does have several screen off animations.
But, to be honest, the TV shutdown isn't perfectly the same as gingerbread.
So is there anyone that has developed something that will allow you to get rid of the unlock screen completely? I think it would be nice to just be able to hit the button and not have to slide the screen every time.
i havent used this app so i dont know if it works or not but it does what you want.

I use Battery Indicator Pro. https://market.android.com/details?id=com.darshancomputing.BatteryIndicatorPro
The free version can't disable the lockscreen.
Just search for "disable lockscreen on the market.
Awesome! Thanks you guys!
On CM7 there is a feature for disabling the lockscreen.

Except that it re-enables all the time. (Issue 2121 on the Bug Tracker).
Been waiting a long time for this to be fixed.
I know there is a app that uses your proximity sensor to detect if the phone is in your pocket, and if not it will unlock your phone when you press the power button.
Going trough my app list now.
Edit:
Found it, it's called Intelligent Keylock Unlocker

I found the same, BUT!
Disabling instead from the recently added 'Tablet Tweaks' menu means it stays disabled. No idea what's wrong with the other disable methods, but this one works. Yay!

I love you.
Now i can reconfigure my Power Widget as i don't need that particular toggle switch any more!
Theres an app on the market called no lock. all it does is gets rid of the lock screen. I was using battery indicator pro for it but hated the notification that was always there.

Hi
I would like to use LMT Launcher and remove the soft key buttons. I have managed to do so, but the "slide up" function at the desktop (the one where you can choose between google and quickmemo) are stille there. This function overrules LMT Launcher at the bottom and I can only use LMT launcher at the sides. Is it possible to make this "slide up function" disappear?
ROM: Pardus HD RoM Classic 7.0
Only way to remove that is with g2 tweaksbox

Tweaksbox is great but i think this module is more what you're looking for for this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2689890
Got it to work. Thanks a lot!
I'm currently running N on my S7.
I would like to be able to double click on an icon from AOD and go straight into the app without using "Swipe Screen to Open"
Are there any other apps that you recommend or a way to just double click and go straight to the app?
Thank you!
