wi-fi problem - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hv this serious issue of wi-fi connectivity on my i9500. The phone should automatically connect to the predefined network but it does not. Have to manually connect it after every few minutes. This problem was also faced when it was on offical rom and the problem still persists even when I have flashed Arrow v8.0 rom.
Have no wifi issues on other samsung devices and apple products on the same network. And as per the dealer there's no problem with the phone.
Need help to fix this problem.

I suggest you do a clean wipe and install another official rom to see which this is going. I only experienced that when i was on a custom rom but got it fixed by replacing some files

I am having this issue since installing Omega ROM, lost WiFi, only LTE available. I tried what they mention on the thread, but I get an error when using Odin to flash the modem firmware.

Check ur modem, to see if it is the same as ur build, or flash a kernel (worked for me)

[Q] i9505 wifi hardware fault?

Wifi turns off by itself about 3 minutes after connecting to a network. At times it even reboots itself trying to turn wifi off. Sometimes it even cant detect a wifi signal even though its within strong signal range.
Tried full wipe and reflash stock firmware but to no avail.
Do you guys reckon its a hardware fault?

It could be, but what firmware/kernel version are you using? Wifi is a kernel issue, not a ROM issue per se, but if you are using a custom ROM and custom recovery, you could have flashed it with the wrong recovery and ended up with this sort of mess.
Most common scenario?
Flashing custom ROM with TWRP or the wrong version of PhilZ recovery or even an older version of CWM.
Any of these can screw up your device.

Previously on ARHD 3.0 flashed with Philz as instructed. Been using it for almost 2 months without a glitch. All of a sudden this happened.
Ive now reverted to stock as u see in screen cap. But still doesn't solve the problem.

No Imei, no baseband, no solution

Hi there, i recently installed Foxhound 3.1 rom and everything was perfectly. it all went well for almost 1 week and all of a suden i lost my baseband (so no service) and my imei.
I have searched the foruns and tried a couple of suggestion like instaling another rom, trying to flash radio twice, etc but it doesnt seem to work since everytime i go up to the rom theres no service.
any idea on solutions? might this be due to the fact that i am 0x1 ? thanks!

Mobile network cancles constantly after Lollipop update

Hi,
Since I installed the lollipop update from Samsung on my Note3 my mobile network cancels constantly. In most cases, after I made a call. It only reconnects after a restart. Then for several minutes, even though I'm supposed to be on the net, I can not make calls. The update was installed via Odin. Is there a solution to this problem ??
Best wishes and thank you in advance.

Have you tried a factory reset? That's usually the first step to take when you encounter issues after an update.

No, does not help. I also tried to flash a few roms, but that didn't solve the problem. Mostly the connection gets lost, after a phone call.
Maybe the reason is, that I have flashed the leaked HongKong Lollipop rom via. Odin?
The Problem is, that I get a Error, if I try to flash the new german one. x.x

Problem is still there.
I also tried to flash the Vodafone Version of Lollipop via. Odin, but because I didn't back up'ed my PIT-File, I had to use one out of this forum.
