Rom and kernel wise? I'm running the Jedi Rom, just not sure what all else is there for options. I tried searching but I don't think it's working as I didn't get even 1 result.

From what I can see Raf has stopped the ROM due to negative remarks towards his work. Personally im gutted, some people have a problem with it coming with jkay as standard even tho raf included the jkay restore zip in his OTA. I just restore my framework with that then installed 3minit. Easy, there was no need for the negativity

he has a I9500 so he cannot use that kernel.
Try this kernel:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/i9500-develop/kernel-lightweight-kernel-t3059266
The only way that I know of is to flash a custom kernel.

ya buddy. i m using the best voltaqe kernel latest 10.8.
Now that we can load kernels, is there one that exists for the OF1 build which allows overclocking? If not for 'verizon' N3, can we use one that was developed for a different vendor (e.g., Sprint)? Thanks...

Both idlekernel and leankernel work fine and allow overclocking. There is a version of each that works fine on the Note 3.
If you look in the Jasmine ROM 6.1 thread there's a link for leankernel

Thanks, i'll check it out.
