<response req_cmd="auth_model_check" status="FAIL"/>"
And Yes I'sure for my IMEI. It is written on my box too, I've checked it!

I think that my IMEI is not recognized by LG's servers and this is my main problem! At first I thought that my phone's IMEI is changed in some way from it's original one, but then I checked my phone's box and the same IMEI is marked there too!

ok, not sure which prerequisites apply then. Send me your serial, I''ll try for you.
otherwise, try downloading the LG support tool via LG, together with the drivers.
install drivers, install LG support tool, connect phone, then select update recovery. At own risk. LG support tool will download and flash newest Rom. this took ages, it was then I tried the download tool.
Now I can suggest to register your phone at LG via the app. Don't think it will help much, but who knows.
I was root with twrp recovery, so I did all that before. I also went back to my android of stock, together with stock kernel. After in recovery wiped system, data, cache and dalvik, to eliminate getting stuck at 49%.
I flashed via method in general, said to be working for all except at&t.

Every time I try LG Support Tool it finds an update for my phone and fails, telling me to flash recovery from the options menu. When I try to flash the recovery, it fails telling me to check Phone model and/or Serial Number ?!?
And I have registered my phone on LG's web site...
BTW I've sent you a PM
does the emei and serial on the phone still same as on your box? can find via settings, about then some option there. looks like your efs is bust.
what have you done previously to phone and do you have a efs backup before you did anything prior?

If you download kies, you shouldn't need to even open it. The drivers will still d/l to your PC. However, it it still isn't working you can do as mentioned and get them from Samsung or you can go to the Developers section and get them from one of the "All in One" or "Index" threads.
You can D/L the drivers from here...

Try Kies 3 and see if it works. The 4.3 update should roll out as an OTA, so KIES probably won't help much for that.
Good evening guys , well I have a Galaxy s4 ( GT- I9515L ) .He hung from nothing and when I restart it, came into infinite lopping , I tried to access the recovery order it, but when I try ..he hangs in the message recovery booting and sometimes it restarts again. I've tried several ways to resurrect it , how to install other rom's and even install TWRP recovery , but it remains the same thing not out of it and is caught on the home screen . It works only download mode. Wanted a help to my case because I'm researching for a week and not find answers .. only people in the same situation as me. Thank you very much in advance!!
Note: He was routed , but I root it late last year.

My girlfriend got an auto update from T-Mobile on her note 7 and it limited her phone to only charge up to 60%. So I found the stock firmware for the previous version and used Odin to flash it over. I also used package disabler pro to prevent future updates. I will link a download to all files from my Google drive as they took wayyy too long to download off of the original site. It will include, the stock firmware (there's 5 parts) Odin (latest version) and package disabler pro. Hopefully anybody reading this is familiar with Odin but if not please ask any questions I'm sure either I or someone else on here can answer them.

Above is also a guide on how to use Odin for those of you who arent familiar with it!
UPDATE!!!!
Package disabler pro stopped working for me but after about 2 hours of searching i found a replacement app. The link is below!
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0c6ZaGr79eTUGRFWWdOMVRSODQ/view?usp=drivesdk
It allowed me to disable all of the update packages
can anyone confirm this while i wait for files to download
i was wondering the same thing and what order to do them in I don't see why it shouldn't work honestly i just haven't used oden in forever and don't want to screw it up lol
It worked fine on her phone you just have to use the app I provided to disable a few packages to stop auto updates and forced updates. I'll upload a screenshot of which ones to disable

You'd flash all 5 of the files at once. The slots on the right in Odin are labeled (for example) ap; you'd select the file I uploaded that starts with ap same with bl, csc etc.
For some reason it won't let me post a screenshot but the packages you'll want to disable are the 2 that say Software Update and one that says UrgentFWUpdateTSP

Thanks, I don't think it will work, for now I'll just be happy with PI4 and able to fully charge it. They must have done something to the bootloader so as not to flash, which makes sense because they don't want you to charge above 60% and they want the phone back...I never had this problem flashing my S5....or S4....[emoji36]

you didn't find nothing on sanmobile?
I did but for some reason after down loading the file they both were corrupted mid matched md5.. I even inserted a brand new formated SD card still no go. I even cleared every cache I could find in my phone reset my router and and monitored the download using es file pro downloader ..

I was kinda hoping maybe a forum member had one lying around. That way I know its a reliable and verified source.. I hate using file hosts that limit your DL speed and amount of downloads per hour.. For example the second link in ibuprofen's response limits to 1 DL per hour AMD when I got to the link ASA it started to DL I hit my home button and lost the DL.. Tried to DL again and said to many connection s try again later lol

Any Luck?
Let us know if you find it, I'm in the same boat and trying to find a legit and "Actual" Stock ROM for the SM-S975L is Dangerous business, guaranteed to make you become Postal! Made the standard nand backup of course but go figure, when you need storage to work it always seems to spit Corrupt out at you !!??
The model #s can't change from one to another; i.e. sml to sgh. To confirm the phone motherboard's actual model #, boot into download mode.

I am having trouble with reverting to stock ??
Before flashing anything, I recommend confirming the model # in download mode.
Check my signature for the stock ROM. Links are there

Hi
I bought an S8 G950U unlocked with Android 8 , it was working perfect as normal connecting to 4G(LTE) and 3G in Algeria.
The day that i upgrade it to android 9 , i wasn't able to connect to 4G and to use mobile hotspot.
I brought my phone to a repairer he flashed my phone and it stucks in "Galaxy S8" screen and loops.
i used odin to flash ADP with firmware (csc: CHA) , it enters to android and it reads the sim in 2G but i can,t reach neither 4G nor 3G.
i think he erased the NAND because the serial number and model number are not true.
and i've other problem, the dial codes like *#06# or *#0011# doesn't work.
idon't know what i should i do. please Help

can you screenshot your "about phone" screen and post it here? Please be sure to block out your sensitive info like phone number, IMEI, ESN etc etc

You can't post pics or links yet. Either 10 or 25 posts.
I always tell people first check imei. Make sure the device isn't black listed. If that's good. We need to make sure it's truly sim unlocked. If so. Then maybe need to flash your carriers csc

I've seen guys flash other country csc files. I just don't know the method as I believe Odin will fail.

since you would be technically changing carrier information with the Odin flash, yes, it should fail in stock Odin. But it will work in modded Odin.

try another cable, reboot your machine, get a new fresh download (dont go directly to sammobile.cim to get it, get the Frija tool or Samfirm, they take literally 1/5th the time to download the firmware sets), try a different computer, uninstall the drivers and let windows reinstall them when you connect your phone, is ADB installed system wide? if not, there is a small tool to do it for you

how those "they" we haven't samsung service , we have just some stores that sell phones and they can "repair" them
they says to me that they don't knows about american samsung (something that i love because of snapdragon)
thank you for all your effort to help me
Nand erase does not wipe IMEI.
And rewriting isn't discussed on XDA

the "they" is the repair shop you had work on it. its hard to know how to un-do what they did if we dont know what they did
i also cant imagine a repair shop that can work on Exynos S9s competently but not snapdragon ones
